Bright Beginnings Pre School

If you want your kid(s) to feel like part of a family while at preschool, Bright Beginnings is the school for you. From the very moment I met the director, Linda, I knew it was the place for my boys. She has a heart of gold. The teachers are amazing, working patiently with each child. The teachers, helpers, and volunteers all take the time to get to know the children and their families. My boys get up in the morning excited to go to school, and talk non stop when I pick them up about what all they learned/did that day! The kids do lots of art/crafts and have playtime daily. But the education they receive is outstanding. In the 3 year old class, they are writing their names and working on sounds and letters. My 2 year old has come home saying the alphabet and counting. They truly do amazing work!

As new parents, my husband and I were very nervous about leaving our child with strangers. Bright Beginnings made the experience comforting and fun. Our son loves going to school and he and his little brother will be back next year.

We've had a child at Bright Beginnings since 2002. All 3 of our
youngest boys attended, starting at 12-18 months all the way
through Pre-Kindergarten. We shopped preschools more than
once during that time period. We always came back to BBPS.
Linda Gulick, the director, is one of the best. She's been
educating young children for many years; she knows how to run
a good school. At BBPS, you'll get the quality experience of
the pricey preschools at half the cost.

Our son has been going to BBPS for the last 2 years. This school is great. Entire BBPS staff, from director to teachers to helpers, are all very friendly and very caring. We feel extermely comfortable and happy to leave our kid here.

My children have attended BBPS school for almost 3 years now and we are highly satisfied and down right elated with the attention, love, safety and learning they have received there. I know that when I am leaving my children in the morning that they are in the greatest hands with the teachers and the director. My children have the brightest beginning to their academic future thanks to this school and the talent of it's staff. They level of commitment those teachers have to our children is unparalleled, they're more like family.

My son has been attending BBPS for 2 years now and will continue in the fall. He loves the teachers and his friends at school. They have caring teachers and the best Director, Ms. Linda, who knows every student and their siblings names. We are sending our daughter there in the fall when she turns 18 months.

I am also impressed with the parents who are involved with their children as well as the school. Everyone is very down to earth and very nice.

My son has been at this preschool for two years and will hopefully continue there until kindergarten. He does not have ADHD but is very active and the teachers at this school are excellent at keeping him involved and giving him tasks that allow him to feel successful. He loves coming to school and eagerly strides into the classroom each day. Ms. Tammy and Grandma Polina are fantastic, as they lead him through the day (there's a lot of dancing, playing and singing), and the director Linda Gulick is phenomenal. This is the type of school that helps create children who are lifelong learners. I feel so fortunate to have found them, and for my son to be in such a positive environment! I highly recommend them! Come visit the school if you are considering MDO's or preschools.

Ms. Barbara has taught three of our sons in the older 3's classes separately over the last six years. She has the skill and patience in dealing with children/our children, as they strive for independence. Ms. Barbara offers love and nurture, while teaching academics. Not only have they learned basic skills such as how to properly hold a pencil, they have left her room knowing how to write their names. Ms. Barbara has taught the beginnings of phonics (i.e. the "S" makes the "ssss" sound.) The older two sons, now in 2nd grade and Kindergarten, were early readers--no doubt in part to early exposure to phonics in Ms. Barbara's Room. And, with learning came fun as Ms. Barbara has great crafts as well! I still treasure one of my favorite child-made parent gifts, a bookmark made and designed by our son's own fingers. Each of our three sons have grown with guidance from Ms. Barbara, while we as parents trusted in Ms. Barbara. Thanks for being a great teacher! We appreciate you.

What a school!! I was so lucky to have found this little gem. The teachers are great and very caring. The director is the best out there. I have never met a non-family member that cared so much for my child. My son attended BB for four years. He will start kindergarten this fall. I feel that he will have a real advantage over the other children for all he learned at this school. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to start at Bright Beginnings!!

Bright Beginnings Pre School has been a wonderful experience for our son and our entire family. Our son will be attending this fall for his fourth year at BBPS. He looks forward to going to school here each day. We are very pleased with the Director and the caring teachers. They do such a great job with our kids and they truly care about each student. The classrooms are small which allows for one-on-one attention for each student. The school does a great job in preparing our kids for kindergarten. They have a great combination of music, Spanish, computer, academics and religion. They have it all at BBPS.

This year will by my oldest son's 4th year at Bright Beginnings Pre School and my youngest son's 2nd year. We absolutely love this Pre School!! In fact, we drive 45 minutes to get to this school. The director and teachers are absolutely amazing. I am 100% confident that we are giving our kids the best start they can get. I am amazed at how much and how quickly they have learned. This is a Pre School, not a day care for the kids. That is what brought me to the school. I wanted a place for my kids to learn, not a baby sitter for my kids. The classes are small, so the kids are able to receive more one-on-one attention. We love the programs they put on and the different activities they have for the kids, such as Texas Days, Halloween Parade, Mother's Day Brunch, Silly Sock Day, Silly Hat Day, etc. Thank you Bright Beginnings for all you do for our kids!

We absolutly love BBPS! Our son has been there the last two years and our daughter will start this fall. I have seen lots of pre school programs and even taught in some but BBPS has it all. They combine fun, music, love of God and academics in a way that works!

My little boy went to this school for almost one complete year and he loved it. The staff is really caring and great. Kids have fun while learning a lot. It was a great experience for us and my kid. We love you BBPS !!

The staff at BBPS are very caring and your child will feel very loved ansd part of a wider family. There are lots of fun activity days. My son loved the silly shoes, silly socks and sailly hat days.

We loved our time at Bright Beginnings Preschool in Plano. The director is fantastic and has such a passion for what she does. My whole family will miss the 2 performances per year. My son loved going to school everyday and is better prepared for kindergarten this fall. The teachers are dedicated and very qualified. Everyone will be missed.

My Kindergartner started Bright Beginnings Preschool as a toddler in the Mother's Day Out program. He remained at BBPS through the entire Pre-school program including Pre-K.We know that BBPS prepared him academically (and developmentally) for Kindergarten! He began reading while in Pre-K with the instruction provided by the teachers at BBPS. Today, he reads chapter books as a Kindergartner and has been accepted into the PACE program with PISD. We remain committed to the program offered at BBPS as our two younger sons now attend. They will also complete their preschool education with Bright Beginnings. If your child's academic future is important to you--you should start early!

I can't say enough about this preschool. It is small, but the love is huge here. The director and teachers are fabulous, knowledgable, and truly care about your children. We love Bright Beginnings!

I have sent my daughter here for 1 year now and this place makes me feel like the money is worth it and have not regretted a day she has been here. They are great with her and they are professionals trained for these children with all kinds of problems, adhd, crankiness and children who want attention. Mine does alot but she is calm here.

I lucked upon this small school when my oldest was 19 mos. old, and then sent my youngest until he graduated at 5 yrs. I trusted this school with my most precious assets, and I can PROMISE that it is not done easily. Give BBPS a tour, and you will see what I learned 6 yrs ago.
