Italian

by Sarah K.

This was my 3rd visit to G&G. Again for the 3rd time, it was very good. I had the salad with chicken and child pasta with alfrado and believe me it was just enough.
The flavor of the alfrado sauce was AMAZING! Nothing like Zio's or Olive Garden. I will defiently be back there.

Horrifying Review #3

by Alisha W.

Called before visiting to ask if an expired gift certificate could still be used. We were told that we could use it, as it had no real expiration date. Upon paying our bill, we presented the gift certificate and were confronted by the owner's son, who implied that they had not received a call from us. After investigating, he verified that we had in fact called, but said we should not have been told we could use it and that they would not accept it. Eventually offered 10% discount for a $28 meal, even though we had a $25 gift certificate that was bought and paid for. Were treated very poorly by the owner's son and manager on duty. Would NOT recommend this restaurant. Plenty of other Italian restaurants in Tulsa!

Sorry Jack

by T W.

Sorry, Jack but I hate to tell you that you are wrong about the name... Giuseppe's would translate into Joseph but did you notice the name of the restaurant is Guiseppe... either they spelled it wrong or they aren't Joseph. That reviewer is correct in saying that "Guiseppe" would sound like "gweesepe" Gu createsa a hard G sound where as the Gi creates the soft g. Learn some Italian before criticizing someone else's correct translation. Clearly you don't know jack.

Jack K

by jack S.

I am from the Chicago area and was looking for an Italian rest. I happened on to G&G! It was outstanding, cute family atmosphere and outstanding food just like my grandmother made. The Lasagna was out of this world and I even took one from the frozen case so that I could impress my girlfriend( I'm going to tell her I made it!) I read the other reviews as well and to the reference to the name "guieseppe" you are an idiot! That translates to JOSEPH! Obviously you have never been to Italy and checked a phone book...I would recommend this resturanat to anyone who likes Italian food. I

Horrified!

by Joann M.

Guiseppe is not an Italian name, it would be pronounced gweeseppe if it was which would hardly sound good with Gina. The Italian sounding phrases thrown on to the bottom of the menu are also not even Italian words much less anything that makes any sense strung together. This inattention carries over to the food. Soggy pasta is not Italian. Good Italian pasta is cooked al dente or firm. None of this I would have any problem with what-so-ever, had it been reflected in the prices. You cannot charge as much as they are and also make a joke of being authentic.

The service was terrible

by Amanda M.

My husband & I decided to eat here one evening while enjoying the Riverwalk. The service there was horrible. A group that came in after us were already done eating & picking up their bill before our waiter even came up to ask us what we were having for dinner. We were so irritated by then that we decided to just pay for our glasses of wine & leave. The atmosphere was clean & it reminded me of a Zio's, Olive Garden type of look that they are going for.

PROS: Clean & inside the Riverwalk
CONS: Wait staff is inexperienced, & VERY slow

Excellent atmosphere, poor food

by A. B. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,015

Wonderful atmosphere inside, right on the riverwalk, but the food left much to be desired. Salad was saturated in dressing, spaghetti was spicier than I like, my meatballs were chewy, however it was the only meal I tried.
