I'm a big fan of all of Danny Meyer's restaurants, but this one is one of my favorites. The flavors are great. The atmosphere is really fun. I love it. Can't wait to go back

Cool, chic, delicious noveau Indian food. Downstairs, at the section of the restaurant called the Bread Bar, it's a little more casual and correspondingly less expensive. Lots of yu;mmy Indian options in the city but yu might want to reserve this pricier one for a special occasion.

This restaurant has lovely food & atmosphere. The chef prepares each course w/ care, mixing different spices in ways not normally thought of. A little pricey but well worth it. Next time we are going to try the bread bar downstairs.

Table downstairs, aka The Bread Bar, serves up great lunch specials but don't expect a break on the prices. The innovative yet traditional Indian food is the best in town. Situated across from Madison Square Park, the outdoor sitting area is great during the summer and there is good people watching.
