The best time to go is from February to May (they say). But I normally call first, the rangers will tell you exactly day to arrive. If you go at the right time you will see blooming poppy everywhere... bring camera, drinking water. Oh and there is a 2 miles easy hiking trail. You won't forget this place. I promise!
PROS: Amazing place
CONS: don't go after May... 100+ degree is a temperature around this area
