The Vineland has aLways been a classic on la puente, I've lived in puente all my life sure it has it's bad parts and ganster parts but overall I have never seen any of that in the Vineland. Me and my boyfriend love going there he can sleep while I watch a good movie lol. He works alot. The Vineland Is very family oriented and staff there well I've begin to make friends with. Prices kick ass. Cheap. Overall I will be outside with a group if ppl if they try to close the Vineland.

Finally we can watch a movie at a theater without having people give us dirty looks for bringing in a toddler! He can laugh and yell at the screen as loud as he wants in the privacy of our own car. We control the temperature, the volume, the food (where else can you take pizza and snacks to the theater?), just can't beat it!

The Vineland is the last of the Classic Drive-ins in L.A. and Orange County. It celebrated it's 50th anniversary two years ago and if my information is correct, Pacific Theatres plans to keep it around for quite some time. If you want up to date showtime information visit www.socaldims.com. The Southern California Drive-In Movie Society maintains an unofficial showtime schedule that's updated weekly and is chock full of great information. You can also sign up for our emailer for free. See you under the stars.

Like i said can beat it!!!

my boyfriend and i have been coming here for 5 years. you cant beat the price $7.50 per person plus a double feature. the movies that they play are new movies. it is great, you do not have to listen to other people talk, the sound is not on some old fashioned box it comes through your fm radio station. so you can keep your windows rolled up and stay warm during those cold winter nights. the cleanliness is kept up and it is open late.

There's nothing I can think of that's negative about this business; the price is great, the screens are easy to find and get a good look from... but the surrounding area is something else. I was very nervous visiting a nearby convenience store (because the movie theater does not take credit cards, I had to take out cash). Very sketchy on your way home; gas up before you come here, and be aware of your surroundings.

When was the last time you saw a movie for 7 bucks? Let alone two! This little piece of the 50's (or whatever) is a great place to watch movies. You come with your friends, your food, your pet! They've replaced the screens and the sounds is transmitted through your FM radio. It's not old movies or anything either it's the new current up to date movies. They have a snack shack that's open until pretty late as well where you can find somewhat reasonably priced nachos, burritos, churros and that kind of stuff. It's a great summer outing.

I really love going to this Drive in to see moives. First off there is not to many Drive ins left and this one is great. So many good things about it. To get into the Drive in is really cheap, cheaper than going to a walk in. If you get there before a certain time you can see two movies for the price of one. They now have a radio station that you put your radio on the here the movie which sounds way better. They have all the food and goodies you can eat there also. You can go in your own car and relax or sit out side of your car and relax and watch the movie. It's really a lot of fun.

PROS: Cheap prices.
CONS: Not to many locations
