The atmosphere at DePasquale is not only relaxing and beautiful but the staff always is welcoming. I have traveled to many places, but this spa/salon rivals the best! And after my head to toe service, its hard to pass the Retail Boutique without stopping in to pick up some of their own products, purchase a gift for a friend or sneak a pick-me-upper for just me!
I have been a regular client for 10 years! If you are getting married or just want to look FABULOUS for a night out- REQUeST ANN to do your makeup! she is truley AMAZING! I am getting married in April 2011 in Florida and am flying Ann down because she is the absolute best Kim or Isabelle do wonderful waxings as well. As far as hair goes... don't waste your money!
While I find the price to be outrageous, once in a blue moon I will treat myself to haricut there with Dulce. I have EXTREMELY curly hair and she gives me the best haircut I have EVER had. She is constantly taking classes and keeping up with the latest trends. I get compliments whenever I've had my haircut by her. I highly recommend Dulce if you can afford the ridiculous price!
Honestly, yes, many girls there are snobby but I have to say the place is gorgeous and the service is phenomenal. I'd rather be greeted with a fake smile than not even greeted at all, as I have experienced from many other spa & salons. Their customer service is great to. They serve complimentary cappuccinos, cookies, sandwiches, tea, etc. What salon has their own cappuccino & latte bar? They also provide you with your personal steam shower upon your spa visit. Yeah, it's definitely a 5 star place; very clean and all the spa services are top-notch. If your going to complain about how they guided you to a stylist chair with a blow dryer, brush, and hair products, because YOU DIDN'T WANT TO PAY for a blowout, well I think thats pretty nice of them. What do expect them to do? Give you a free blowout or one at your ideal price? Please, you say people that work there are snobby, um I guess plenty of arrogant people that have posted on this page are too.
The salon looks nice and is very clean BUT the service is awful and overpriced! The stylists are too wrapped up in themselves instead of the customer. I had Michelle attempt to give me the "salon experience". What a joke! She did not listen to how I wanted my hair. I should have asked for a different stylist the second I saw her. If the person doing your hair is a hot mess; then that should tell you something. Never again!!!
Such a phoney experience! Even the hair operators use "made-up" names to sound exotic -- I was a regular customer for about 2 years and stopped using their services when I got a haircolor touch up--the last of many-- (which cost a fortune & trust me wasn't great!) and since I didn't want to spend another pension to have it styled, I was handed a blow dryer and taken to a back area to blow it dry myself -- nice classy way to treat a regular customer, don't you think? Worth the money?? I DON'T THINK SO!! You can even be treated better at any "beauty on a budget" shop! Don't waste your time girls.
Yes, the place is nice, but that is where it ends. Nothing but a lot of fake smiles going around. I had a girl who didn't want to hear what I wanted. She was very adamant about doing whatever she wanted too. I paid $120.00 for her to turn my blond hair reddish, and even though I asked for layers, there is not one to be found. She had a horrible attitude to go along with her horrible way of doing hair. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I have tried DePasquale 3 or 4 different times each time saying that I would not return. I find them VERY EXPENSIVE, terrible haircuts. I have left crying 2 times due to haircut. The only good thing about DePasquale is that the place is very nice but, I will NEVER return again for any of their services.
I have visited this spa numerous time and continue to be disappointed. I had a pedicure today that cost $55, I was rushed to pick out a polish color and felt like the pedicurist was rushing the whole time, she didn't speak to me once and I didn't even know her name. I think that today will be my last visit to this spa, I have heard wonderful things about another spa in Denville that I am going to give a try.
I bought the SPA package from Depasquale Spa last year as a birthday gift for my wife. As a birthday gift, I even got some discount. My wife liked it very much. The service is very professional and the environment is attractive. It is a nice way to say thanks for your beloved one.
