I must admit I was an faithful customer to Odessey Records. Then I went to Best Buy and Kmart....for new music Tuesday. What turns me on abt ZIA is....they have everything and my senses are constantly stimulated.......My daughter is hooked to. I bought her first record.....NWA. She wants more. Thank you ZIA

The eastern store is a very user friendly with craig, bobby, ruben, danny, mai, kirby, kim, amber, joey, kerwin and cameron too.

Zia's specialty seems to be the ability to obtain out-of-print dvd's and music, through special orders, which does not cost the customer until it comes in the store for pick-up. Great program!

keep up the good work gang!!!!

I love Zia Records. Lots of Cds and Vinyl. The Prices are very reasonable and it is a paradise for any record collector as for myself. I have over 700 CD's in my collection. I got a record player for christmas and now I have like 40 records to jam out to. If you love rock, metal, r&b, rap, and your a collector of CD's and Vinyl and your looking for good prices at an indie place, you will love Zia Records.

P.S. The workers are very helpful

The record store system in Nevada has been a steadily declining one. With Tower and Virgin gone, and even independent stores like Big B's closing down, there is now a serious void in Vegas when it comes to hunting down those rare albums, records, CDs, or whatever it is you collect as far as music goes.

This is it - the last true remaining record store in Las Vegas.

The selection at Zia is incredible. Used and new CDs spanning every genre are available here. And the prices for CDs, old used ones in particular are EXCELLENT. I've often gone into the store and gotten two used cds for less than ten dollars. The store even has a whole corner devoted to vinyl, and even discontinued formats like VHS and audio cassette.

It doesn't end with music. The store also has a fairly large DVD selection, along with a minor T-shirt and memorabilia selection. There's even a small video game section.

The store will buy your used CDs/Games/DVDs/etc., and from what I can tell they give you more money than most similar establishments.

The staff may look a bit odd at first glance, but they're awesome people who know how to treat their customers right. If you've ever gone into a Tower Records before, you'll know what to expect from the staff. Looks are deceiving - these are great people.

I only knocked a star off my rating for a single reason - the store does seem to discriminate when it comes to their hiring process. I interviewed at the store. The interview went GREAT and I even had an intelligent conversation with the manager. Yet I never heard from them again. It's clear the store tends to give jobs to friends of employees over people who are actually qualified (I had a year-and-a-half experience in record stores prior to applying.) But don't let this deter your opinion of the store.

Final verdict? AWESOME store. If you want to see how a record store should be run, this is a textbook example.

I've never been let down when looking for an album in this independent record store. They have a huge selection of all types of music. They also offer albums used at a lower price (and they are always in good condition). The crowd that works here/hangs out outside are always a little weird but it's worth it to trek in the store to find what you're looking for IN TOWN at a DECENT PRICE.

This is the best music store in Las Vegas ever....

They have an insane selection! And you know how some of the used cd stores keep the used cds in a different section and really don't put any effort into organizing them...well, this music store shelves the used stuff with the new stuff! so its not hard to find something used...its right where you would look for it anyways. Thats so brilliant!

Plus, they have vinyl and used vinyl, and the guy they have running the vinyl section is very informative and knows his vinyl. I was impressed.

They also sell dvds, and their music dvd section rivals all music dvd sections I've ever seen.

Its hard to put into words how cool this music store is, I make weekly trips to the store, and I highly recommend this store to everyone I know.

You must go to this place, go now!
