My son attended Camp Seymour for one of their one week summer sessions. They offer these all summer long, for various age groups. He especially loved the climbing wall, the swimming, and the kayaking/canoeing.

Their staff is excellent with nervous young campers, and did a great job putting both parents and campers at ease about safety, and the camping experience.

All in all, I highly recommend Camp Seymour as a reasonably priced option for sleep-away camp.

I went to Camp Seymour as a camp counselor for a sixth grade field trip. The kids loved being there. The staff is very interactive with the kids and the things they teach keep the kid's interest. All the kids and counselors enjoyed being there.

My son went to Camp Seymour with his 6th Grade class for two days. He loved it. He and his class loved the canoing, the obstacle course and all the classes. They learned so much. The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped make the experience one he will never forget.

If you want your child to have a great camp experience where they'll create lasting memories, make new friends and want to return year after year, Camp Seymour's the place. Located at Glen Cove on the Key Peninsula, this YMCA-run camp features a wide variety of activities (archery, swimming, crafts, canoeing, etc.) for groups of all age levels. One and two week sessions. Well trained counselors help make this a very positive camping experience. You won't be disappointed you chose Camp Seymour for your child/children.
