This is a great place to go to see local productions if you are looking for a fun date night or to entertain out of towners. They usually have a great title playing at any given time, from well known fables to lesser known cultural productions. The playhouse itself is a step back in time as it is over a century old. I have seen several plays here and there has only been one instance where I wasn't completely satisfied. They work really hard on the production and put a lot of time into the the costumes, sets and the performance in general. You can buy a season pass to see all the plays in a certain series for around $60, or buy a ticket individally for $15. In my opinion the season pass is is a great price to see five plays. They also have a theatre school program which my niece attends and likes a lot. She is in high school and they brought her acting up to the next level.

This is a really nice place to see a play. The prices are quite reasonable. The acting is very good. The theater is located in an old home which has a lot of character. Seating capacity is small but this allows you to feel as if you are a part of the play. You are up close to the action. I believe they only have 5 main performances each season. I have been to many plays here and have never been disappointed.
