I've been a member for about four years now. It is a great value, especially since they opened the new wing. I'm a family plus member so I get to bring my kids to the science playground for free. Also the reciprocal admission privileges to other science museums around the country is a great benefit. And all members get to park in their huge parking lot (except during the US Open).

Ive have been to the New York Hall of Science multiple times and it never gets old! Fun at any age, adults and children will both have a good time there looking at the things on display. Alot of their things are interactive which makes it all the more better and interesting. I took four children ranging from the ages 7 to 13 and they all enjoyed it there. Great way to spend the day and learn at the same time

Please bring the children to the New York Hall of Science. There just are not enough places in the city to nuture the budding scientist within. The New York Hall of Science is an exception to that! You can come and have a blast playing on the interactive exhibits, attend one of the ongoing classes and presentations that are happening, and our favorite- the chemistry lab on the lower level. Here, you travel from table to table and perform the easy and informative experiments that are laid out for you. Last time there, we went to a class on prisms and light and got to see a dissection of a cow's eyeball! One caveat, the cafeteria is terrible- eat before you get there!

this is the best science place for kids for the price.. I like it alot better then liberty science center and it alot cheaper... they have discount coupons in the queens local papers and i the queen parent paper.. there are alot of thing to do and the exhibits change thoughout the year... you could also have a birthday party here, and they have science classes for school age children too.

There is more stuff to see every time we go. Special attractions, The library there is awsome. You can have parties there and black tie events. the water park is fun. For the most part the staff is helpful and polite. Parking is easy. Just dont go in August unless you want to look for parking due to the tennis thing going on.

The New York Hall Of Science is kind of small and even though it's kind of geared towards kids there really should be more interactive activities. It's quite a trip from Manhattan but is fairly close to Shea Stadium and Flushing Meadow Park where the 1964 World"s Fair was held and where Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium. I would suggest trying to incorporate a trip to the Science Museum with a visit to one of these other places. Of course if you live in that part of Queens then your visit to the Museum is easier to do as a stand alone event.

PROS: Some interesting things to see
CONS: Needs more displays, long trip from Manhattan
