.

Dr. Mooney is a bit rushed in the office, but always takes time to answer any questions that I have. He tells you what you need to know, but doesnt really embrace the roll of a doctor as an educator, so if you want more information you have to ask a lot of questions. Sometimes I found not having too much extra information about possible common complications I had during my pregnancy actually kept me from worrying obsessively and everything resolved itself on its own. He participates with a group of doctors that rotates being on call if you go into labor after normal office hours or on the weekends. He does two ultrasounds standard with every pregnancy, but doesnt hesitate to do another one if he thinks its warranted. He owns his own ultrasound equipment and does those personally so you dont have to go to a hospital and see a technician. The major annoyance with the office is that you will have to wait a long time in the waiting room for your appointment sometimes. I dont know if that is normal for other OB offices or not if youre still working during your pregnancy Id try to get an early or very late appointment so it doesnt eat up the entire day.
