Stop & Shop

I have only been there a couple of times and will only go if they have a good sale. I don't have great things to say about the staff because they really don't put out an effort to be helpful.

Stop & Shop is not in the best location in Jersey City, but the store seems to be safe. Check the food carefully for expiration dates since the store does not seem to have a lot of stock turnover. Prices are ok, some good weekly specials.

The clerks at this Stop & Shop are more concerned about talking to each other than helping the customers. This location is open late, though. But they also have expired food on the shelves, and we've seen police hanging around outside. Not very welcoming.
