When I rented from Budget, I was pleased with the service offered and the price. I am skeptical of rental-car places, but this one was very clear and detailed on the arrangements and friendly and service-oriented. Though they specialize in trucks, they also rent good cars, and I was pleased with the car they gave. The building is not much to look at, but I was very happy to do business with them.

We went to Denver and we upsold to a car with a larger engine for the mountains. So far so good. Once we started up the mountains the car had no power. Turned out they gave us one with a smaller engine. When we went to return the car we were treated rudely. The manager was adamant we had the larger engine. His own employees had to show him he was wrong. He never apologized. Well I emailed Budged and they did not call back nor did they ever follow up. After 1.5 months they still have not apologized. I would NOT recommend them to ANYONE. How hard is it to take 5 minutes to apologize and move on?
