Lowery Park Zoo

This zoo has been nominated top notch and its easy to see why. There are so many animals that you may not be able to see them all in once visit. There are indoor sections , which is helpful in the hot Florida sun. There is even a water park section for all ages. This zoo is always looking for ways to improve the park. They have added new animals and rides since I last attended.

I love the zoo! It is a large zoo, many animals, all the exhibits are open when we go. Only downside is the price, it is very expensive to us so we cant go very often.

I have always enjoyed going to Lowry Park zoo to see the animals. The monkeys are my favorite. The workers are friendly and informative, and appear to take good care of the animals. The habitats in which they live appear to be most like the enviroment from which they came and appear to be in good health overall. The souveniers are expensive, though.

lowery park is adding more animals and exibits. They just recently had a new addition to the rhino exibit and he is soo cute. they have an area where you can ride a camel and an area where you can feed stingrays. You can walk the park and see everything in a few hours. They have an area with fountains that shoot up where the kids like to play in the water.

I love Lowry Park zoo, they have so many animals for the kids to see and better than other theme park type places. They have a great manatee and stingray exhibit that my kids never get enough of. IF you buy the yearly pass it is even a better deal! My kids also love the Australian exhibit with the kangaroos and other animals. They love the merry go round. My kids have been many times and are still never bored. You get much more value with your money here than at the other animal based theme park.

PROS: Price is great, plenty of stuff for the kids.
CONS: Having to pay extra to ride rides.

My family and I visted the lowery park zoo and we had a great time. so many things to see. My children loved the exhibits and the animals. we spent the whole entire day there and the kids did not get bored at all. great place to visit.

I went for the first time last year and I probably won't go again. It was boring. The animals were not out and you can walk the park and see everything before lunch time. I would just buy a season pass to Bush Gardens.

The park is a great size and has awesome exhibits. There is a small petting zoo for the kids too. My son was in awe with the elephants and tigers. They always have something going on...lots of special events. My favorite place was the Safari Africa. The fees are reasonable and you have the opportunity to feed certain animals (for a very small fee). It is a great place to go for all ages.

This is a wonderful zoo to visit with my family and friends. Kids and adults alike had a great time. My kids had such a good time riding the camels and observing the other animals. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. I do suggest visiting during the cooler months because the heat can be awful during the summer.

i went to the zoo and within two hours we went throuth the whole zoo, most of the animals were not out. there were not many familes there. it made me thjink more of a petting zoo than a regular zoo. i was to impressed

My family and extended family love this zoo. I had family come down from TX and they fell in love with our zoo. Their always have all their exhibits open to the public. Prices are good and considering bringing a huge family..then you get discounts. It's great!!!

We took the whole family and had a blast! They had many exhibits and areas of interest to children. The animals are well cared for and they have a good variety of species. They also have a water area where children can cool off from the hot Florida weather. Will returning again and frequently. The kids liked to ride the camel the most.
