Dr. Amirdelfan is a top-notch specialist in his field. He is not a prescription happy pill pusher, but rather a very considerate practitioner of pain management. I've been seeing him since 2004 or 2005 for chronic pain issues related to a broken back, and we've worked consistently to make sure the medications I get are adequate without being too intoxicating. He drug tests twice per year to make sure they are not being abused, and adjustst them throughout the year when needed to make sure his patients don't get too dependent on them. Whenever I've had a problem with my meds, he's been quick to adjust them. We weened off certain ones when they were too strong, and introduced others to manage the situation. I feel he always has my health as his primary concern, and have never felt like he was just filling prescriptions like some doctors do to save time and see more patients. He even has me get seperate kidney function tests annually to make sure I don't damage my kidneys/liver. I have been able to completely week off strong pain patches and other muscle relaxers that I no longer need while under his care. I highly recommend him to any parent that is seeking a responsible doctor to treat their child--one that won't just load your kid up with tons of pain pills to keep your business. I've gotten to know him personally over the years and offer up my strongest recommendation for him and his practice.

I have been a patient at IPM for about 6 months. I had been struggling for 2 years since my move to the area to find a pain clinic that isn't squeamish about prescribing REAL pain medication for REAL pain. I wasn't treated like a freak because of my multiple pain issues, F/M, CMFS, Deg. Disk Disease and Occipital Neuralgia. And finally got good relief for my pain. They have a lot of doctors to choose from to fit your personality. I changed my doc once within the clinic and there were no "guilty feelings." There are long waits even with your scheduled appt. So you need to be ready to wait to be seen (sometimes up to 2 hours, yikes I know but they're good. And good is hard to find with chronic pain. BUT THE ABSOLUTE highlight of this clinic are its' shining stars...the staff (besides the doctors). Tish and Brittany at the front desk, Juanita at the procedure scheduling desk and every N.A. that has taken my blood pressure and asked about my meds. Always smiling, never rude and helpful. I'll actually miss going here even though I'm moving to So Cal near the beach. :) Good luck.
