Antioch medical Imaging

My doctor ordered a test which required an injection into my shoulder joint by a doctor prior to the exam. I called trying to schedule, but was left on hold and passed from staff member to staff member having to repeat my reason for the call again and again. I was finally scheduled, and arrived on the day of my appointment, only to be told I wasn't in the system! Furthermore, after I spent a good deal of time filling out their ridiculous paperwork, I wasn't scheduled again for another 8 weeks!
For someone in pain, and wanting to get a diagnostic study to resolve their medical problem, this facility really needs to learn the meaning of PROFESSIONALISM and MEDICAL CARE!
Go to Pittsburg Open MRI... no problems there!

I like AMI because they do not make you wait. They answer their phone in a timely manner. They try to provide a good service.
My only peeve with the whole medical community is that even if you are a cash paying customer who wants to order a mammogram or chest Xray you cannot get one unless you have an order from a doctor. If you are your own health advocate you should be able to do as your doc's recommend. Get your tests on your own accord, after all YOU are paying for it.It is your concern,your body.
What if you don't have insurance, or what if you want to take your
information to a doctor of your choice. It is really an unfair to the consumer practice.

we were pregnant and came here for a routine ultrasound - what followed were a couple months of worry and anguish after the radiologist misread our test and "suggested" that our baby had a serious brain defect. we ended up preparing for a difficult delivery by changing the delivery hospital and changing medical groups to find a new OB and Pediatrician who could handle our case at the other hospital. we researched the syndrome and joined a support group, spent many a sleepless night crying and worrying about our child. we had a specialist standing by at delivery only to discover our baby was in fact born completely normal. So relieved, of course, but not pleased that this happened. maybe this place is ok for imaging a hip or shoulder but be aware if you are going for a prenatal ultrasound. [this is my opinion, YMMV]

when going to have an MRI done these people can realy help with it when you dont like being closed in they help you relax so you can have the test done to see whats wrong they made me feel very comfortable during this test
