Ratings_icons Wal-Mart Is The Worst

MANAGEMENT JUST DOESN'T CARE. On Saturday I had to return something to Wal-Mart. There were 5 people total in the Customer Service line and and just one slow moving cashier (with tattoos and multiple piercings all over her body.) After standing in line for 15 minutes, I asked a Manager who walked by "How many people have to be in line before you'll open up a second cash register?" He looked at me hatefully and said "It doesn't matter." He then walked away to go stand behind a little kiosk and chit chat with another Manager. All of us in line COULD NOT believe his attitude and his response. He made it crystal clear that at Wal-Mart...Customers don't matter.

I honestly don 't what this guys problem is but he must think that because he is behind the counter that someone won 't clean his clock for him. He is making himself look bad and is a discredit to what Walmart is trying acheive. He has been serving us up a healthy dose of pissyness since that store opened 4 yrs ago. If you want your balls broke over some pills then go to Walmart on Trooper Rd. Other than this guy, the rest of people working there are great and I have always appreciated having a Walmart close to my home. Most phamacists take pride in being able to help people and it shows and you will want to keep coming back. After dealing with this person you will be walking out of the store in tears, and you will know what I am talking about. I feel sorry for his wife and family, if he has one. The day he leaves is the day me and my family and friends will consider getting our perscriptions filled there.

Maybe it's because Wal-Mart's employees feel unappreciated, but each of the very few times I've been in this store, I get the impression the employees are overworked and/or angry. Last week, the clerk never made eye contact, let alone did she say "hello." She wasn't rude, but there was no connection, no recognition that I was anything more than the next order in line. It beats the time I was berated by an employee for not knowing the price of an item I was trying to buy, but it still felt unwelcoming.

PROS: Cheap stuff
CONS: Occasional unfriendliness
