Every time I go to Crab Kings, I always wind up with a bag full of female crabs.
The first few times were ALL female, then I was asking for all male, and sure enough half of my order was female...
Prices are normal to high even though they supply many of the seafood joints at the Jersey shore believe it or not.
Does not the customer come first?

Then go see The Crab King and Queen at their stand behind Cramps Liquors on Route 130 in Edgewater Park. While there is no phone number for this road side stand, you can't miss the sign directly under Cramps sign and their truck and tents as well. They always have freshly caught female and male crabs, clams and shrimp. Sometimes they have fresh fish as well. The seafood is caught daily in Maryland and driven to them directly. They keep the little guys on ice to keep them happy and even offer their own delicious brand of crab/seafood spice for a nominal fee.

PROS: No need to travel to the shore for fresh crabs
CONS: none
