Very good service, good food, Nice atmosphere, generous portions, and reasonable price. The sushi was great. You guys should get chop stick holder helpers for the kids.

We loved the quick service and the great food. Hot and sour soup is amazing. The lo mein was a little greasy, maybe use less oil next time...

Always friendly, excellent service, delicious fresh food, and a patient wait staff w/ all of our questions about the menu. One of our favorite restaurants, we come at least twice a month. Very enjoyable.

A bunch of us visited Moongate yesterday for dinner and I have to say I was surprised by the quality of food and even more so by the pricing! From the layout and the looks of it, you would expect $20 plates or something that's gonna dig a hole in your pocket. But not so, it was nicely priced from $8-$13 per plate, depends on what you get. However, cheap price doesn't mean cheap food. When out dishes were ready they were nicely decorated and everything was so delicious! Being a college student I've had my share of cheap Chinese food, and let me tell you, this isn't one of them. We all finished our food and everyone was saying how good their food was.

If you are planning to head out with some friends on Pearl, be sure to stop by there and grab some of that Sesame Beef! Peace.

We had been recommended this place but the food left much to be desired. Started out well with potstickers but quickly descended into very poor cooking - soggy, watery Pad Thai, broccoli beef in a canteen-like gloopy sauce, wonton soup that tasted like week-old meat in dishwater and sesame tofu that was so sweet it would have worked as a dessert. Even the rice was virtually inedible, Uncle Ben's boil-in-bag at best. If you have ever experienced quality Asian food, you will be disappointed by this. Perhaps the rave reviews are out of date.

Perhaps this restaurant received their accolades under different management, ownership and staff.
The food we were so anxiously awaiting was soggy, bland and overcooked. The General Tsao's chicken was so immersed with liquid of some kind, that the result was a bland, watery breading. No matter how much sauce they soak this in, they can't hide the lack of time and effort put into this dish.
The fried rice left much to the imagination, as the result was a tasteless medley of what appeared to be leftover vegetables thrown into the mix. The crab rangoon was a bright spot in an otherwise overpriced, poorly prepared and disappointing take-out meal. The only I would take out from there again is their fortune cookies.

PROS: crab rangoon, fortune cookies
CONS: read review

Moongate Asian Bistro on east Pearl in Boulder has great food. The portions are ample. The curry dishes rock! Great lunch prices. They also have locations in Lafayette and Denver.
