The original Rogol Glass Company belonging to Carl Rogol had a fantastic reputation; unfortunately Freddy Uyuni, if that is his real name, is using the Rogol name. The 35-41 31st Street address with the name "Rogol Glass" is a hole in the wall where a man who calls himself Freddy Uyuni has an ugly history of being physically beaten by customers for lousy and incomplete work after taking huge deposits. He demands big deposits and then drags the time to finish the job, so that the customer gets angry and gives up on him as well as the initial deposit. In my case, he took a seven thousand dollar ($7,000.) deposit and delivered about three thousand dollars ($3,000.) worth of incorrectly sized 10 foot glass panels, with a door that was three inches too short and then reordered the door. He broke the top corner of the second door while trying to install it and refuses to replace it again. The panels were too tall to fit in the overhead railing that braces the glass, so he kept MY heavy duty railing in his store and installed a simple, flimsy U-shaped channel to hold these huge glass panels. Needless to say my storefront wavers back and forth when you sneeze on it ..... THAT BAD! Anyone is welcome to come see my storefront disaster at 32-07 31st Avenue, Astoria, New York.
Also note that the store directly next door to Rogol Glass is a sign company that wants to move because people think they are affiliated with the lousy work of Rogol Glass.

This storefront offers every type of service imaginable concerning glass. If you have a local business they do installation, storefronts, and mirrors. If you are a local resident they also offer small-scale cutting projects. The service is prompt and they deliver. Located alongside other businesses makes this a good location to pick up other things from the hardware store on the next block if you are waiting for a small job.
