First Class Knowledge and Top of the Line Products
by Levi A.
This store is all around great. Upon your first few moments in the store, you will be surrounded by some of the best cookware and kitchen appliances from All-Clad, Lodge, Le Creuset, Cuisinart, KitchenAid, and more top of the line brands. They also carry a fine selection of Wusthof and Global cutlery, and if you are a local chef you always get a discount.
In addition to all the great cooking gadgets, they have a Gourmet Foods section full of the most delectable balsamic vinegars. Next to the Gourmet Foods is an extensive Wine Cellar, where they host wine tastings every Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
And, to top of your shopping experience, they have a Gourmet Deli, so you can take a break for one of the best lunches in town. Fancy meats and cheeses are served with homemade soups every day - and they are dynamite! The soups are always delicious, and the sandwiches are a great value for the quality of food that you get.
Allyson's Kitchen (as it is now called) is a great place to eat, drink, and shop for your cooking needs.

Okay

It is very expensive and they have somewhat a captive audience because there aren't any true kitchen shops here, so though pricey and with a limited selection, it's still nice to have a small store like theirs in town for some specialty shopping, but not anything more. The food served is just okay and also pricey. I had hoped to take cooking classes which they offer in a nice sounding schedule but a relative who took one said the class was very amateurish and he felt like the instructor was basically also a student, so he strongly advised avoiding the classes, which we have done.

Best Equipment, Best Food, Best of Ashland and Bend!
by Jean J.
My favorite place to shop. Staff is highly educated with virtually everything in the store. I go to Allyson's because I know I will be satisfied. In fact, my satisfaction is guaranteed! I don't know of a place that provides that much support. There is no better place than Allyson's for a delicious meal, hard-to-find gourmet food, local and import wines, and exceptional quality cooking equipment. For these reasons, Allyson's gets my vote as the Best of Ashland and Bend Oregon!

Dealing in a wide variety of products that would otherwise have to be ordered from the internet, Allyson's of Ashland is a good place to pick up items that are difficult to get elsewhere. With high prices and a poor return policy it's important to go in with knowledge of what you're looking for and knowledge of what you're walking out with. Allyson's is good for final-resort shopping, unless you have money to spend. Customer service is great, employees were always willing to lend a hand when I needed assistance. The store was very well kept, very clean and had a nice atmosphere that made it difficult not to spend too much.
PROS: Wide selection
CONS: High prices

They will carry anything you need for the kitchen from silicon brushes to cake pans of all sizes to knives to thermometers and the list goes on. There selection is quite amazing. The customer service is great and they are always willing to help. The downside is the price. Go here if you really need something that nobody carries or if you feel like splurging.
