5 Stars: GREAT FOOD (by Angela O.)

PJ's is not only clean, and the wait staff friendly, but the food is great. I had the seafood chowder and let me tell you I could have ate the entie pot. My mom had the Reuben and loved it. A must when visiting Southport, I would highly recommend taking the ferry from Kure beach to eat there.

4 Stars: Down home cooking with very reasonable prices (by Kim P.)

PJ's restaurant is located in an old gas station in downtown Southport. They serve american food southern-style. The wait staff is very nice and the food is quite good. You definately can't beat the prices. They offer both non-smoking and smoking areas. The restaurant is clean and can get very busy. If you want some down-home cooking, this is the place to go. Don't forget to order their keylime pie!
