NAEYC Accredited, the J Earl,y Childhood Center is an amazing school. The staff provides a warm, homelike atmosphere as they offer rich experiences for the children. Many of the staff members have been with the J for over 20 years. Housed in the JCC this school has access to a variety of wonderful amenities such as an indoor swimming pool and a full size gym. Extended day programs are available. Check them out!
How can you go wrong with the longevity of, the warm, nurturing and caring staff? There are wonderful specials classes, Gym, Discovery (Great science room!) Music (various instruments for hands on experience, scarves and ribbon sticks for movement), and a Loft that is amazing! The loft changes themes every two months (ex., Grocery Store, Pet Store, Doctors' Office, Farm, Post Office, Theater (w/stage, dress up, karaoke machine, microphones). The Directors are wonderful and the teachers go the extra mile to make families feel welcome and at home. There are many wonderful extra activities. Family dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, an unbelievable carnival in February and an art show created by the children! Why wouldn't you want your child here? Both of mine are graduates!
The JCC preschool (through Kindergarten) gives your child the warmth, nurturing and attention she deserves while providing an enriching, thorough basic education that prepares him for First grade. Amazing staff of teachers and assistants.
