Dr. Paul is a great OB/GYN. I have been a patient of his since 1998 (he was still doing his residency). I had four children(no C- sections...yes!) My first son passed away of SIDS in 1999. While 5 months pregnant with my 2nd son, I went to an appointment with him. I had a small hole in my water bag leaving hardly any fluid around the baby. He sent me to the hospital where he said he would meet me. Dr's there told me to sign forms,I needed an Emergency C-section, & my child would not be viable. I told them I would wait for MY doctor. He knew I just lost a son the previous year. He confirmed what the other drs said was true but he said he could admit me to the hospital and wait to see what happens. Dr Paul came to see me everyday. 30 days of fluids, steroid injections, and bed rest later I was released to go home...still pregnant! I actually made it full term with my son. 3rd pregnancy no complications. 4th one...O BOY!!! Let me just say she wasn't growing properly, he monitored her growth by ultrasounds weekly, I was induced @ 36 weeks, My 3year old is doing just fine!! I could go on and on about this wonderful man!

Dr. Sheldon delivered my two boys who are 8 and 9 years old. Ihe has delivered my sisters child. Now I am trying to have more and will not do anything wothout Dr Paul. He is the most caring doctor I have ever met. He will be with you every step of the way.

This is going to be a long one-sorry. Dr. Paul was my ob when my son was born. It was a v-bac (having had a csec 3 years earlier.) While dr. Paul was very kind during all the office visits, he was not as attentive at my delivery. My son would have been born many hours earlier if Dr. Paul had come and checked the babys position. (His head was turned slightly). After many many unnecessary hours of labor, he finally checked me. My son was born approximately 15 minutes after his head was adjusted.
Feeling the need to be consistant, I went to Dr. Paul a couple years later when I found out I was pregnant again. He told me I didnt have a choice, I had to have a csec. He told me that the new hospital insurance required him to be at the hospital the entire time I was laboring. I told him I really didnt want a csec, as I had had a successful vbac. He told me to get over it. The only thing I could do was have a csec. (He was not polite during this conversation). I finally asked him if I could follow a midwife on the side, so that is all was well, I could vbac at home...and if there were complications, he could do a csec. He told me (and I quote), 'If you are stupid enough to have midwife, then I dont want you as a patient".
Needless to say, I found a very supportive midwife and have never gone back to Dr. Paul.

I have had many medical problems in my 31 1/2 years. My female issues began in my early teens. I had seen doctor after doctor for severe abdominal pain. Had ovarian cysts that would rupture and cause severe pain. I went to no less than four doctors in the obgyn field when I was 18-22. This does not count the ones who see you in the emergency room. I went to Dr. Paul's first office way down by Nellis. When I told him of my female problems, he listened to me! He did not try to prescribe an anti-inflammatory or pawn me off with a pack of free trial medication. He was the first to schedule surgery to see if there was something going on besides it all being "just in my head." To my amazement, he showed me a picture of the inside of my belly and it looked like one huge spider web. I have pretty severe endometriosis and the resulting adhesion's had attached to nearly everything in my abdomen. After a few surgeries, the final one was a laporotomy for this issue, I lived nearly pain free with normal menstrual cycles and without medication for 5 years. I had a rare tubal pregnancy in 2006 that was missed by ER staff. I made an emergency appointment with him and was seen the very next day. We discussed my suspicion that it was tubal. When 4 days later it was finally confirmed, Dr. Paul dropped EVERYTHING to come save my life in the middle of a busy workday. Now that I am having the inevitable recurrence's of endometriosis problems, there is no doubt as to who I am going to have fix. In addition to all that he has done for me, he is teaching up and coming doctors to treat people, NOT PATIENTS - PEOPLE. He has always taken the time to bring these students with him to chat with me, and he always takes that extra time to talk with me. I don't mind waiting just a few minutes more because I know that when my turn comes around that he will give me the same exact respect that he gives to all of his patients. That my concerns will be listened to, even though I am a bit of a high maintenance client. I have never been rushed out, given the cold shoulder, or had my concerns brushed off as belonging to a possible hypochondriac as I was in other offices. There should be more doctors like Dr. Sheldon Paul. I will never see another OBGYN. I believe that he is not only talented, but that he is one of those that get into the field he is in because he truly cares about people.

Hi. I saw Dr. Paul for my whole pregnancy and i must say he is the best doctor, hands down. He was always so friendly, always made sure everything was OK with me, and helped me have the healthiest pregnancy possible. He had to deliver my baby via c section and he made sure i was ok throughout the whole thing....because i was freaking out that i had to have surgery! My baby was so healthy and i have to thank him for that! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Paul is also my doctor, and he had to perform a surgery on me as well, and he was wonderful. He is a very, very caring doctor, who answers all of your questions, and actually also cares about his patients. I have seen many other doctors in Vegas, but I must say that none of them have been as great as Dr. Paul.

I had to look up the address of the office and noticed the comments left by the previous reviewer.... I beg to differ! Dr. Paul is the most open, understanding and proficient Dr in OB/GYN in LV. I have been a patient of Dr. Paul for over 6 years and have referred many friends and family members to him for care. All of which have had nothing but great things to say about him. Keep up the good work guys!!!!!

This Dr. is an OB, and while he may be a satisfactory Dr., his secretaries are not very courteos, and seem young and not very helpful. I was a cash pay patient and had to run all over the building trying to make change because they were not prepared to give change. Dr. Paul was proficient but not terribly friendly or welcoming.

Dr. Paul actually cares about his patients. He cares when something hurts and always listens to what you have to say. He has 2 locations in town so if you live on the east side or the west side you can access him.
