Air 7 seas Transport Logistics

Moving from one country to another is basically quite stressful. You can count on Air 7 seas to add as much hassle to the process as possible. First they quote low. They send very poor packers just by looking them up on the internet. On day of packing we had to most of it ourselves. They brought no material. The shipping truck was delayed. They ended up charging us for the delay. Service at customs was poor from the local partner. Our goods looked worse packed than any others at the warehouse. Most people laughed observing that it looked as though we were moving across town. Needless to say goods were damaged. It took for ever to fight them to get corrected pricing and insurance. The people answering the phones are terrible and will keep passing the call to someone else. My first few weeks were spent staying awake to catch them at their west coast time so that I could try to get my bill rectified. Pay more and get more peace of mind. At least you will not get fleeced....

Air7Seas Fraud!I made the mistake of using Air7Seas to ship personal affects overseas. They promised a delivery date of Aug.14, 2008. It is now November 16 and I still haven't received my shipment. Despite the fact that the Bill of Lading and all other documentation lists Nairobi, Kenya as the destination they refuse to move the shipment from Mombassa, Kenya.Once they have your money they are done with you and they will promise you anything to get your money. This is the most corrupted company in USA and is owned by Indians. We had terrible time dealing with them. They quoted us different amount and later charged double the price. They held our shipment and didnt repond, after repeated emails and phones we didnt have choice but to pay the amount and got our goods delivered. They don't respond to emails, the charges doesn't have any basis. There are other companies you could pick for your shippments. We advised our friends also to look for some honest company

I had a terrible experience with Air7seas Their quote looks the lowest, so I chose them. But I was charged for almost twice the weight and volume, when I received their invoice. They had said the they would handle customs clearance, but that also they only give some contact in India and again there are hidden fees there. Which again doubles your estimate. When I got their invoice, I called them up and they said when they do the wieght/volume it generally increases by some amount. But this was unbelievable since what they were charging me for was double the quantity. I was asked to pay immediately o.w. they would start charging me per day cost for holding my freight. Finally when I released my freight, I got the offical confirmation that my estimates (weight/volume) were indeed correct. Air7seas (poonam/maha/mary) had this to say "towne air freight (their partner) charged us this much and we have to make whatever small amount we make". I had to many calls to these 3 ladies. For the reference: my weight /volume were: 430 pounds/ 30 cu ft I was charged for : 794 pounds / 79 cu ft Also the fees I had to pay in India, doubled the cost. So I finally had to pay about 4 times as much as their estimate.

If you need to ship (Air/sea) to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh, these are the people to call. Faster Transit times, customes clearance, they also do free estimate. Great service at great costs. I highly recommend them. Much cheaper than the UPS's and Fedex's.
