The first time I visited this regional park was during an elementary school field trip. I loved field trips, as most students do, so i had memorable time here. It was an adventure for me. This area was first inhabited by Native Americans and you learn the history of the land from the tour guide. There were lots of nature trails through the wildlands of the Ohlone hills, we spotted several different large rodents and some deer. Nowadays, most of the land that used to belong to them has been converted to ranch land.
