5 Stars: Worth the drive from virtually anywhere (by Fred C.)

Stopped at LaCascia's to pick up just a rum cake and ended up walking out with the cake, 3 subs, 1/2-sheet pizza, 2 loaves fresh scali and a box of pastries.

The subs were incredible; we highly recommend the steak tip sub (marinated in their special sauce) and the chicken parma (topped with prosciutto and roasted red peppers).

The cannollis were made fresh right before our eyes and were as good, if not better, than anything from the North End.

The cake was a big hit at the party. $33 for a cake that fed 20 people with slices left over (but not for long :^).

Only drawback is that they are 15 miles away from home, but dispite that commute, we'll be back next weekend to load up on subs again!

5 Stars: Best Bakery and Deli Combo (by Bonnie B.)

this place is one of the best stops for a bakery and deli combo. They have fresh hot bread so yummy it melts in your mouth. I never leave without a fresh loaf of scali bread. Their cold cuts are always fresh and plentiful. Never worry if you sometimes have a hard time finding hot capicola because you're sure to find it here. They also specialize in cakes, pastries and cookies. All of which i have sampled and am happy to announce are yummy and delicious.

4 Stars: Great bread and cold cuts. (by James F.)

This delhi has some of the best bread that you can buy, they make it fresh every morning and slice it right in front of you. Also the cold cuts especially the ham are all very very good. And finally the bakery is stuffed with good italian treats. I recommend the lemon squares.
