I stored my things here--furniture, electronics (TV and stereo), no clothes--for over 2 years. I visited 3-4 storage places to look at their facilities and found the warehouse here to be the best, as far as I could tell. I bought my boxes from them, they picked up my things and moved them to the storage facility. Early on in the process, just to be on the safe side I suppose, they gave me a quote for storing 2 crates although they weren't sure if I'd need 1 or 2 crates. The day after my things were delivered to storage, I called and talked with the owner to ask if my things could fit into 1 crate, and he said no, my things were in 2 crates.
Two years later, I hired my own people to get my things out of storage rather than have Century deliver them to me. When I arrived at the storage facility, I found that all of my things were stored in just one crate. When I pointed this out to a few of the managers there, they told me that they would talk with the owner about why I was charged for 2 crates when my things were stored in one. When I next talked with them, they told me that this happened because they have a 2-crate minimum and that this is stated in the contract. I looked at my contract and there was no such term. For over 2 years, I paid double what I should have, and when I asked to be reimbursed for the storage I paid for but didn't use, they said the most they could give me was $100. I got an attorney involved and after some months they finally sent me a fairly large check and when I called to ask them to explain the amount of the check, they admitted then that they, in fact, do not have a 2-crate minimum . . ..
On top of that, the little door on the front of my TV came back broken, but . . . besides that everything seemed fine otherwise. I wouldn't recommend them.
