The restaurant is to the right when you walk in and the bar is the left. Grab a menu as you walk to your selected table. Although the windows are slightly too high for a good view of the lake, choose a table near the back windows. My BLT

The most politically and environmentally conscious restaurant in Duluth, featuring very fresh and often local farm ingredients. We shared a free-range roast chicken glazed with a soy and whiskey sauce that was obviously made with care. The cabbage was still crisp in the soup of the day, which was also laced with apples and red wine. Booths made of recycled wood are large enough to seat a family, and shelves lined with books make it easy to linger over coffee and house-made pastry. A warm neighborhood place that's a little spendy but worth the couple of extra dollars for delicious food, sustainably farmed. Expect a long wait during weekend brunch hours.
