This has been such a wonderful and great learning experience for my 2 daughters. I have a 4 year old that learned a great deal of her dance basics this year. Her teacher was kind and a true teacher. Holding the girls' attention, having fun, and learning!!! My older daughter, 10, truly advanced her technique this past year.

The recital which was just over 2 hours, was well organized and was professionally done. I love the fact that the dancers get to see part of the recital and get to see their instructors dance. What role models!! I remember when I took dance looking forward to the recital to see my instructor perform.

I am also very pleased with the family tuition program and that Dance Art is close to home. It is very convenient.

This studio has it's pros and cons. It is great dance studio if you want a Fun, Expensive, Weekly Activity with no expectations.

My 4 year old Daughter attended this dance studio for one year. We recently switched after the recital to another local studio. I did not feel like she was getting the dance experience we were paying for. The monthly fee is expensive compared to other local studios. The short 45 minute class is often ended early to have a snack party for every occasion imaginable. The teachers give candy or gum after every class without asking parents permission first. Monthly payment is not prorated when class is cancelled due to bad weather, holidays, or Spring/Christmas break.

The teachers are experienced dancers...but are very frequently absent. Every teacher is kind and sweet with the children. The children enjoy the dance class and the teachers. The class sizes are small.

The recitals are LONG. (3+ Hours) The teachers and owner perform very many dances without students which drags out the recital longer than it should be. It seems like the instructors dance at the recital to compensate for the lack of students who can dance well.

I have been taking my daugters to Dance Art for 7 years. I have three ages 12,9, &4) I love the family atmosphere and their new location. The studio was recently taken over by one of the long time instructors and she has made some fantastic changes.
My girls cannot wait for their next lesson. We have enjoyed our lessons.

The teachers here seem nice enough. I was a little frustrated one some nights because they would read the kids a book for 10 minutes, and I was paying for dance class - not story time. Also, there isn't very much space for parents who want to stay during the class - especially if they have other children. Works fine for being close to home.
