Orlando is the best... I can go to him and tell him either what I want and he does amazing or I just tell him to give me a new look.. and he does fantastic every time!

Sidney is the one...he is awesome and makes me look good no matter what...go see SID!!! They have great product lines too...make sure to make an appt. they stay busy it seems.

Ask for "Kristie" she is AMAZING. She knew exactly what I wanted with very few words... She was nice, beautiful and personable. I will never go to another as long as she works there.

Menchaca's top stylist Summer has moved to a better salon on the other side of the mall outside of Macy's in the strip center that is located between the big Bank of America building and the Pet Vet Animal Hospital. It's called Studio 3000 and the number is 281-488-1520. The prices are comparible but the service is not.

i had gotten previous hair cuts from them before, and never had any real problems.. but the last time i went, i asked for just a trim and the guy ended up cutting two/three inches off my hair. which..could be expected from many stylists. what wasn't expected was to go home and find a thick strand (about an inch wide) that wasn't even touched. i had to use my own scissors to even it out. it was disgusting! i don't know how i missed it while i was there, but the hair stylist should have noticed.

This place is kind of expensive and not exactly the most professional place; however, Tiffany has always done a great job on my hair. I have been using her as my stylist for about 6 months now. She is very outgoing and seems to really care about her job as a stylist. If you need a stylist and someone who can do highlights, I recommend her. Avoid Carla at all costs, she is the rudest and crudest person to work there and she stirs up drama with the other stylists while she is working. She has gone as far as insulted me and my looks the ENTIRE visit when she cut my hair and when I left I was told that there could possibly be a pretty girl in me after all. what a wacko. Steer clear of her unless you want to pay extra for insults!!!!

I have had summer on of the girls up there do my hair for years. she has come to my rescue several times when i try to do a home hair color and when it messes up she is able to fix it. and to me thats means a lot to me. They have tried to send me to other hairstylist and the one time i tried. the girl messed up everything. at the end i said i wanted to talk to summer. she looked at it and told me to wait and she'll fix it. after seeing the same person for over ten years really help becuase they know you and your preferences. and make sure they understand what you want. its your money and here job. yes the owner does not care because you are replaceable. someone will get there hair cut in your place. its becuase of location. if it was not in the mall then the owner would have been out of business. they care about quantity, not quality.

I don't recommened the company but i can recommened Summer if you choose to go up there.

if you need an idea for quality and cheap. go to a hair college. a true master stylest will watch like a hawk if you ask. while training someone to do the procidure. thats have med. students learn. hands on.

Got a really bad haircut from a new stylist who was in a rush to cut my hair so she could meet up with her boyfriend. Called owner to let him know after I couldn't lie to myself anymore about how uneven and ugly my haircut was. Owner unfriendly, insincere, and not very apologetic. Just because I went somewhere else to get the mistake fixed, owner said he couldn't do anything, offered nothing, and seemed to not care. Why would I want to go back to the same place that f----d my hair up in the first place to get it repaired? He could have maybe offered a refund. I had beautiful long hair and ended up with a chili-bowl haircut. Go here if you want people who think they know what they're doing to "style" your hair. And, God forbid that you have to talk to the owner. He doesn't give a s--t what happens to your hair.

went to this salon for a hair cut and highlights last week. I asked for a hair specialist who has experience working with dark hair that have been dyed before. Girl who worked on my hair said that that color she is using on my hair will work even though I had dark hair. when the girl washed my hair, the scalp and the roots were the only things that showed the highlights. Since I was from out of town and was leaving the town next day, I asked for a refund. Instead of being apologetic for ruining my hair, the manager talked to me in a rude tone and hung up on me.

I wouldn't recommend this place to even my enemies.

I checked some of the reviews here after this bad experience. I wish I had checked those reviews before because other people had the same experience.

I went to have an "updo" for my bridal pictures - I wanted something natural, not overdone - LORD - I had to cancel my pictures and reschedule! I literally looked like medusa!! Not to mention, the gal that did this monstrosity - was supposed to be a master stylist at updo's!!! I would not recommend this place to my enemy!

My wifes Mother's Day Present was a visit to your store.

Rude girls at front desk. My wife had appointment, arrived on time, another lady was let in, had to wait 25 more minutes. She asked for a younger girl, but was given an older lady, who started cutting before asking how to style her hair. She argued with my wife on the dying of her hair, lady to use her natural hair color, my wife has gray hair. Now she has ORANGE hair and too short! My wife quit the rest of procedure, paid and left crying.

Cut n Wash- 13.99! Great deal if you have time to go back home to blowdry. I have used this awesome deal on occasion, but have also gotten blowdried, which they do an AWESOME job doing. I had a guy doing it, but I don't remember his name unfortunately to praise him on here for his great job. I paid $30 + tip for the trim n blowdry, and he really took his time styling my hair. I told him that I had to leave within 45 mins, and said he would try his best, and we ended up finishing in 1 hr, which still got me where I needed to be on time. I usually go here whenever Visible Changes in the same mall has no openings or if I just need the wash n cut deal.

PROS: Cheap deal on wash n cut, Pretty Good haircuts
CONS: Might be considered too lenghty for some ppl
