.

Vertical Endeavors is located inside the Life Fitness GYM and therefore is not the easiest place to find on your first time if weren't already told it's in there. The place is filled with many realistic climbing walls to use, I was told they were actually from molds taken from real rock faces. There are many types of walls to climb that range in any skill level. Some walls have auto-belay systems on them , which means that instead of needing a partner to belay you (hold the rope) you can climb on your own. In addition to the walls, there is also climbing instruction as well. Vertical Endeavors also carries many rock climbing supplies like shoes and harnesses to rent for the indoor walls. There is also a small shop with climbing gear to purchase if you want, many times there are sales as well. I have seen many children's birthday parties going on, so it can be a good place for children, but might want to call ahead if your an adult and see if a party will be going on that day, just in case you want to avoid a lot of kids.Prices usually run at about $15 per adult, maybe a few dollars more if you rent a harness or shoes - but this price enables you to climb as long as you want. I'm not sure what the children's' price is.

PROS: Nice walls for all levels, love the auto-belay, good workout
CONS: sometimes crowded if a B-day party is going on. no sign to show location
