Paws-A-While

Friendly, just terrific to the animals, very accommodating and they do excellent work. You always get the same groomer so your dog actually knows them and that brings the anxiety way down.

I have used Paw Awhile for years for a very skittish shepard/terrier mix.... my dog hates groomers and loves Paw Awhile... what more can I ask for. I highly recommend them. My dog does too!

Paws A While has been the best choice for our pup. I originally brought my Airedale there and was always very satisfied. After he passed away, I moved and decided to try a more "upscale salon" for our new dog. I paid 2x the price and they always did a rush job. So back I went to Paws A While. We've used them for many years and our pup is always happy to go there (which I think is the best endorsement). They do a terrific job at a reasonable price. I recommend them to all of my friends.

Overall, this is not a bad place to go to if you don't want to go to a petsmart, etc. and save a couple of extra bucks. It's a bit pricey here, but I've been satisfied with all the cuts my dogs have gotten. The ladies there are very nice and have always been kind to my latest dog. However, there was definitely an instance when my dog was a puppy and we brought her to get groomed. She must have not been a good "customer" and probably squirmed around a lot, and as a result, when we picked her up, we noticed the tip of her tail had been "cut" and was bleeding. Ever since that time, when we bring her into the store, she VERY reluctantly goes in...you practically have to drag her! BUT, the cuts are generally nice and we've never had another "bleeding" issue since that one time...
