The Kimberton Inn is nestled in the picturesque town of Kimberton. The Inn itself is surrounded by a stream and pond as ducks and geese swim to their hearts' content. Your hear will be contented with the historic ambiance of the structure and the amazing food. Your experience will be well monitored from afar by a select team of waitstaff who will cater to your every need. I make this locale a regular member of my dining rotations!
Kimberton Inn is one of the finest restaurants in the area. I have never had a bad meal there. Their brunch is especially good if you want to avoid the dreaded brunch buffet. The owner is very hospitable and we have found that they are surprisingly accommodating to children.
One of our all time favorite night out spots. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuff at all. The tables are spaced nicely so you don't feel like you are right on top of the people next to you. The service is attentive without being over done.
The have a terrific wine list and the food is always just right.
Even their banquet room dining for meetings is fantastic, and to me, that's saying something.
Kimberton Inn has casual fine dining down right. My husband and I eat there a few times a year for special occasions, and boy, does it make us feel special.
The service has been impeccable. They really have all the little details down right - silverware service, offering cream for the coffee in a pitcher instead of little plastic creamer cups, etc. Service is attentive without being cloying, friendly and polite.
The food is excellent. Never had a mediocre item there, from salad through dessert. The menu isn't particularly fancy, but neither is it boring. Mostly classic food done right. Fresh and well prepared.
The atmosphere is understated and well appointed, classy without trying too hard.
Kimberton Inn is truly a classic.

I just want to express my feelings after having dinner at your inn last night. We have eaten there before and if I remember was very good. We had 8:00 reservations and we did not get seated until 8:40. We sat at the bar and did not get waited on for 10 minutes. We finally sat down and when we were ready to order, you were out of the special that two of us were going to get. We were not offered bread or anything ? we had to ask for it. When our meals came back, one person in our group had to send it back twice ? she asked for medium and both times it came back rare. So the third time, the piece of meat had been tortured and barely could eat it. You offered her a free drink ? hello?. After we paid the bill, your waitress came back and asked if we wanted a free dessert ? no thank you ?we just wanted to get out of there. And to think we picked your restaurant instead of Seven Stars to celebrate two anniversa ries.
I?m very sure I will not be returning to your establishment and will be spreading the word. In this economy, you would think you would be treating your patrons a little better ? we spent over 200 dollars and a free dessert would not make up for the service and food. We all came home and had to eat leftover pizza that we got for our kids.
Thanks for an anniversary we will never forget?
Pros: Nice tables and seating
Cons: Table 45 minutes late, had to send dinner back twice and then it was uneatable
Get in the car and start driving, when you get to Kimberton (just the other side of Phoenixville) you have arrived. 200 year old Inn that charms you with every aspect of your visit. Excellent food prepared and presented with great attention to detail. Very extensive wine cellar that is the pride and joy of the owner. All of their servers seem to be quite well versed on the wines as well. For a really great treat and value make a reservation for their Sunday Brunch, at $22.95per person it is an unexcelled value with off menu selections not some belly up to the bar buffet. They also have very nice facilities for groups. Romantic, Authentic, Charming. Kimberton Inn has it all. Also in the winter several fireplaces throughout the dining area are lit which makes for an even nicer ambiance. You will be very happy you made the effort to seek out this Gem!!!
