The Bent Spoon is a great place to stop for a snack on a stroll around Princeton. They have AMAZING ice cream and snacks. It??s a little pricey, but it??s well worth it if you have it once in a while. An ice cream is about $4 or $5 for a medium. They do have punch cards where if you buy so many you get a free one. The people are VERY friendly and love when new people or college students come into the store. They will always let you try a flavor if you ask. It??s a great place to stop on a summer night or Sunday afternoon and sit on the benches outside in the square and eat your ice cream!

With so many choices for dessert in Princeton, why go to the Bent Spoon? While Halo Pub and Thomas Sweets are also good, the Bent Spoon offers an entirely different experience: unique flavors, a cozy atmosphere and great service.

The gelato style ice cream is made with local and organic ingredients, and is made fresh from scratch each day. Every time I have stopped in, the owners are in the kitchen working hard.

The flavor choices can be overwhelming, but I've found my favorites to be Earl Grey and Cardamom. There are plenty of amazing sorbets as well. The fresh ingredients and lack of preservatives makes the Bent Spoon a guilt-free alternative to the other Princeton ice cream spots.

This is the best gelato I've had outside of Tuscany. The portions are admittedly small, but that's okay because the flavors are SO concentrated. I actually wouldn't want a very large size of most of their flavors. You MUST try to the dark chocolate and coconut combination!

Four stars because the place is literally a hole in the wall so there's never any place to sit. However, since you usually want gelato on a hot day, most people just take their to go and walk around the square while they eat.

Bent Spoon is a newcomer to the Princeton eatery business, and they have two heavyweights with decades of history to compete with. However, they've made a name for themselves with stunningly delicious artisan ice creams and famously sinful cupcakes. The prices are high and portions small, but this place always has a line WAY out the door on hot afternoons.
