I just love BOBO! I always get the same thing, comb platter with seseame chix, fried rice and cream cheese puffs! YUM-O! Jannet- the owner, is a wonderful lady. This place is the bomb!
Pros: Cheap, food, staff
Cons: kinda far away
This place is a jewel in, what I would consider, borderline rural MN. I have not met a dish from here that was not excellent. I have recommended this place to others for years. Everyone who I've brought has been impressed. Huge proportions of excellent food at low prices.
Pros: Low Prices, Excellent food, Huge proportions
I was not too impressed with the food and neither was my friend. We had the dumplings for an appy and we were very dissapointed because they were deep fried as opposed to the traditional steamed dumplings - the meat inside was disappointing. I had the healthy chicken and my friend had the a chicken dish. We both agreed the food was lacking in taste and rather heavy. Next time you are in the mood for Asian, I would recommend an alternative.
I am going to go against the grain and say I was not a big fan.
Pros: The prices are reasonable
Cons: The food was dissapointing
Inexpensive, but great! That's Bo Bo. They have the best squid in town as far as I am concerned. And they Orange Chicken and Kimchee is great too. They have a few dishes you don't normally see if a Chinese restaurant. Their entrees are large, inexpensive, and the service is great. They treated us like family! We drove from Blaine to visit Cabela's and found this little gem. Its on the other side of the interstate from Cabelas. You take the first left after the interstate and go down to the end of the Rogers Shopping Center. It's right next to the Guadalahara Restaurant. Or look behind CVS. You've got to try this one!
Pros: Great food, inexpensive, and very friendly
Cons: Too far away from my house - I would love to visit this place more.
Bo Bo is a fantastic little Asian restaurant. They have the usual chinese items, but then they also have a couple of things like Korean Kimchee and three really great squid dishes. The portions are huge, prices are fair, the service is good, the staff treats you like family, and if it wasn't 20 miles away from my home, I'd just about live there!
Excellent food and some new things to try. Worth the drive!
Pros: Food quality, selection, price, quantity, variety, and service are all excellent.
Cons: Not the most romantic of spots.
I went to Bobo with my girlfriend. We ordered two entrees(general tao's chicken & beef w/ brocolii), a side of lo mein and a side of chicken fried rice. The food was very good. I paid around 20$ (including a couple sodas). It was enough to feed 5 people! I took home the leftovers and had enough to eat 3 full plates in the next two days. You can call and get carry out also. Awsome asian I recommend to all of my friends.
Pros: Huge portions, inexpensive, great food
