My daughter receives services though Rainbow Preschool at home and attends a music and movement group at their center. My daughter has SPD, and autistic traits. They have been a godsend to us and DD has made significant gains in a short time. I have a BS in Early Childhood and an MS in Special Ed, LBD, and have experience teaching autistic children, and they manage to teach me a great deal. I have great trust in them and it is a relief not to have to be constantly offering suggestions, but to be able to relax and know that they know what they are doing.

The sensory gym where the group (Toddler Tumble) is held is fantastic with really great equipment including a ball pool, therapy swing, tumble forms, "crash pad", art equipment that is always available in one form or another at the toddler size table and chairs, and large carpeted area for group activities. A music therapist and OT run the group, but my daughter's teacher usually attends as well as many speech pathologists with individual children they work with.

All of the teachers and therapists I have encountered have been extremely knowledgeable and beyond proficient. I have not met anyone yet that anyone would consider "extremely young" or "just starting out" (not that there is anything wrong with it, there are alot of great new teachers, it is just that that particular statement made in another review is entirely false). It is also difficult for me to imagine where the reviewer got the information that they "do not meet their goals". She does not mention how she is in a position to have attended so many annual reviews to know what goals have or have not been met by various children at the school.

I would recommend Rainbow Preschool to anyone.

Rainbow is a wonderful preschool environment. The curriculum is fantastic as are the teachers and staff. I, myself, am a certified teacher even though I now choose to be a stay at home mom. This doesn't make me an expert on school systems but it certainly makes me very informed about education. My son has high functioning autism and I know when he goes to school he is learning while having fun in a great preschool environment!

I see there is a negative review on this preschool, but the person doesn't bother to state if there child has ever attended this school. The age of a teacher doesn't matter just their drive to educate!

I send my autistic child there and I am Very impressed on how well the school handles her. I have seen great progress in everything she is doing. I am also impressed on how everyone is so friendly and helpful in helping me deal with her at home. I would recommend this school to anyone!!!

I won't send any children here. They don't reach the goals because the teachers are just out of college. They don't have a very good preschool enveriment. The children are not worked with that much.
