Ratings_icons Best chiropractor I've seen

Kristine D.

I've been seeing Dr. Hills for about ten years now, starting with a pretty serious car accident. He has a different adjusting style than most other chiropractors I've seen (and I've seen many over the years); it's very effective. He has always taken the time needed to help me with whatever was giving me a problem at that visit. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Hills is very busy, so you'll need to book ahead.

Ratings_icons Dr. Hill knows his stuff!

I had back surgery 10 years ago and had never recovered properly, so every time I tried an exercise program I would reinjure myself and have to start over. After seeing Dr. Hill regularly for several months and now only as needed, he was able to realign my low back and hips such that I have more mobility now than I have had in a decade. I am finally able to participate in a strength training program (not through his office) on a regular basis; he takes the time to help me understand the correct way to exercise so I don't hurt myself again. He is so knowledgable and and sound in his treatment - I trust him completely. He has a holistic approach to his treatment and really is a delight to work with. I think his pricing is very reasonable. I don't mean to sound sappy about it, but I really feel like he has given me my life back - I cannot recommend him enough.

Ratings_icons Best service I've ever received

I can't say enough for Dr. Hills' treatment of my daughter when she ran cross country in high school, and now myself, recovering from a severe fracture. In each case we were referred to the professionals (adjunct services to the hospital) and our conditions only worsened.
At great expense, I might add.

Dr. Hills knows his stuff, is a great communicator, and very affordable. I can't recommend him enough.

Dr. Hills has helped me so much. He combines chiropractic with physical therapy/manual therapy techniques, which for me worked together for my chronic back and neck problems in ways others had not. This is because he sees the "whole picture", and releases tension in the soft tissue to allow chiropractic adjustments to hold. He coordinates with his deep massage therapist to accomplish this goal, and knows what exercises to assign to cause long-lasting improvement in posture and function. I don't know why the first reviewer said he was expensive, for all that he does in each session. His schedule is full, so one needs to schedule in advance--because he is so good.

Ratings_icons An outstanding chiropractor

BG N.

I had some knee problems and found Dr. Hills at the Northwestern Chiropractic College where he was supervising chiropractic students in the clinic at the college. He loves to teach!

I had gone to several other chiropractors who had moderate success with my injury. But none did what Dr. Hills was able to do.

He helped resolve my knee problems completely. He is both a chiropractor and a licensed physical therapist (PT) a very rare combination. He not only treats your injury but provides you with exercises (that if you follow his instructions) that help maintain and strengthen to prevent further injuries.

When he left the college I followed him to his new business in Eden Prairie where, over the years, he has treated my other sports related injuries including post treatment rehabiliation for ankle fractures and low back injuries (I'm very active in sports).

In addition, I have sent all my friends and acquaintances to him for incredible success and resolution for a variety of injuries. If he believes an injury isn't appropriate for him to treat (e.g. bone fracture) he immediately refers you to a medical doctor.

He is inexpensive when you look at how quickly you recover from your injury. Other chiropractors may charge you less for each visit but they make you come back over and over again so it really ends up costing you much more.

If you want to heal an injury - Dr. Hills is THE person to see.

Ratings_icons Took the pain away, but rather expensive.

Susan M. | insider Insider | Rank: 14,321

I visited them due to back pain, and found relief from their treatment, but the visit resulted in my health insurance having issues over their fee schedule. After the hassle, I checked around and found them to be rather over-priced relative to other chiropractors in the area......certainly not worth a second visit for me. Perhaps your insurance will get a better deal from them, YMMV.

PROS: Plenty of parking, extended hours.
CONS: Found their prices to be very high relative to other places.
