I feel that the other post on here must be from the director herself writing it. No customers would know about common comments and influx of students from other schools but her.

I have to say that I am so outraged at this school right now. The director fired my daughter's favorite teacher this week for no reason and we are very upset. I am not alone. A LOT of my friends' kids are upset too. This teacher was the only reason why we are at this school and now have no reason to stay.

The director herself is not a nice person and does not have a good reputation among the parents. She is short and rude to us.

The prices have also gone up extremely high, so much so that we cannot return. There are other schools in the area that are not as expensive that I am looking into now and have gotten a much better welcoming than I did at the PULSE.

I would NOT recommend this school. The shows were horribly run, the classes are overloaded and the prices are way too high. We will not be returning in the fall. I would look elsewhere!

I'm not sure where the other reviewer was, but she was definitely not describing the Pulse. Unlike most other studios in the area, this is a student centered facility. My daughters absolutely love the studio, and they have gotten many of their friends to join as well.

All students are treated equally, all students are encouraged, and there is a real family feel to the studio. It's very clean and modern looking, and the teachers are very well trained and focused on students. Many of the teachers are actively performing in New York City.

As for price, the Pulse is in line with other local studios. In my opinion you get much more than dance education here, you get life education. Students are taught respect and the normal pettiness and cutthroat competitiveness found at other studios is not tolerated here.

Finally, as proof of what I've said above, the studio has seen a major influx of students from other local studios. The most common comment from these new students is that they can't believe how welcoming the Pulse is, how the director actually knows their names (she is the most approachable and friendly person I've ever met), and what a joy it is to dance at a studio that isn't all about winning trophies, but more about learning the value of hard work and dedication.

But don't take my word for it, come in to the studio and audit a class. You'll quickly see how this is a special place, and one that you would be proud to have your children attend.
