This school seriously need to educate their security guards. They are very disrepectful and racists. Esepcailly new female security guard with short hair and a guy with limp. I am a student working as a delivery man for part-time and female security guard there was asking,, well rather commanding me to
have a menu on my dashboard. I have never been informed by anything that i needed a menu. Well I would love to bring it next time if she could have asked me in sensible manner , but this lady was commanding in very rude way and racism based attitude(I am asian and she was being really nice to white students in front of me). Guy with limp, i am not even going to bother commenting on him. He was just yelling and swearing at me. He said I dont give a s*it what you say, dont even come this school and you gotta listen to me if you want to come. WOW I was shocked how ignorant and disrespectful he could be. This school really have to educate their security guards a basic manner to passengers. I am going to have to sue them if they do it like this one more time. Those impolite security guards really disgrace this school.

I decided to attend QU full time for my undergrad degree. If you're considering the same, you may want to go somewhere else.

While I find Quinnipiac to be a great school if you're only there for class (going part time, for example), attending class full time can be iffy. The student body is VERY homogenious...as in they are ALL THE SAME. Most kids seem to come from either Massachusetts, Long Island, or New Jersey, and most are spoiled and rich.

If you don't intend to live there, unless you're just like these people, don't bother. You can save a lot of money and go to a different school. I don't feel that QU's reputation has gotten me anywhere that a CT state school couldn't have...except like $100,000 poorer.

PROS: pretty campus, law school
CONS: Hamden is boring, bad professors...it just sucks, the end.

A beautiful campus in a safe, well guarded environment, Quinnipiac is a respectable school. The tuition seemed a bit steep a few years ago, but compared to the increased costs of the state schools, there is not much of a difference in costs now. The computer labs and classrooms are modern and clean, and the grounds are well maintained. One of the few schools locally with a physical therapy major and law school.
