The service was very friendly. My facial was excellent and the products that were recommended to me for my skin are working beautifully. I already see a difference! The location is great and the prices are fair! This is my new go-to spa! I love it!

Massage Therapy
I tried a few other places and they were just too fluffy for what I was looking for. The great thing about Metamorphosis is I got what I paid for, A Great Deep Tissue Massage that basically made me feel wondefful. I give them the Highest Rating possible. And for what its worth, I understand that some Massage Therapists from other companies are frequent customers at Metamorphosis also. Just don't look for locker room area, they do not have them you change in the room. Highly recommend for their treatments.

My skin savior
She is a miracle worker. I battled with my skin for years; dryness, breakouts, scarring, sensitivity, oily patches. You name it. As a young 20 something New Yorker, my skin is constantly abused by late night partying, long hours of make-up wearing, alcohol. She made my skin so magically good you can never tell I had any skin problems before or now!! You won't breakout after extractions either, which is a miracle.

My skin NEVER looked this good!!!
I just came back from my first facial from Metamorphosis and my skin is glowing. The esthetician was extremely knowledgeable. She spoke with me about my skin care routine, diet, vitamins and life style. She offered great advice and did not push me to buy products. Once she began my facial, I forgot where I was, I was so relaxed! I highly recommend this spa!

j.sisters or metamorphosis
i have been to both and the expertise is the same, although the j sisters have been around forever. i did some research before i picked metamorphosis on and what i read was that they brought the brazilian to new york. they are very good at male brazilians. my wife and i go into at the same time for our appointments. the people that work there are kind and quick. it seems like now there are lots of people doing brazilians, but take your time and research who has been around.
PROS: safe, quick and clean.

Great end to a day
New to the city, searched the web for a place to get a massage and facial. Found Metamorphosis Spa and made appointments online. They were extremely patient as my better half was late. Once we got in, the massage with Fred was AWESOME. And then my facial followed and my relaxation continued! I found my escape spot as I get acclaimated to the New York City.

Metamorphosis Great for acne
I have been a Metamorphosis client for 2 months. I went to so many dermatologists and spas tying to clear up my acne, but Metamorphosis was the first place to do it. They used laser with micro peel, plus few Emerge skin care products to use at home. After 2 months my skin never looked better. Thank you Metamorphosis!

Walk out if you are a Dissatisfied Customer 
This is a dishonest and untrustworthy company. I am very disappointed they never learned good business etiquette.
After my fiance' read the raving reviews on city search he decided to get me a certificate for my birthday. I then made an appointment for the contents on the certificate. When I arrived to this small poor lit place on the 5th floor the only thing that intrigued me was the self-heating toilet seat.
At the end of the awful massage, they claimed I received an hour massage when in fact it was not. I trusted them to manage my time especially when I booked the appointment for a half hour. The owner claimed they never make a clerical error and were forcing me to pay my hard earn money for their mistake.
Learn from my fiance' and previous posters mistake, I will not go to Metamorphosis again.

CONS: Dishonest Company, Awful Massage, Environment

Metamorphosis Day Spa is a great spa to go to for relaxation for your mind, body, and soul. They have many great techniques. Everything from facials to deep tissue massages, you can get them done here. They do a fabulous job. I was so relaxed, I could fall asleep. The prices are great and very affordable. I highly recommend their services.

Worlds Greatest Massage
I went to Metamorphosis spa to get a facial and a massage. I have enjoyed my experience there a lot. The facial was excellent and the massage was very relaxing. The staff was very friendly, and made me feel comfortable. The decor was pleasant. I would definatly come back and recommend this place to my friends

best waxing in the city
if you're looking for an uber posh salon that will treat you like just another number, then metamorphosis isn't for you-- but if you're looking for a discreet and relaxing atmosphere to get many kinds of treatments-- then this is the place. it's literally an oasis, you can't even hear the city noises from inside! its the only good experience i've had in the city for waxing-- the bikinni wax is as close to painless as you're going to get.
Pros: good ambiance, location, online reservations
Cons: pricey for waxing

Perfect Little Midtown Spa
I am a bit of a day spa connoisseur. I am often traveling or unexpectedly getting a day off or preparing for a show, so the big thing for me is "can I get in when I want to and is it an amazing experience because downtime is so precious!" Well my friends, if you're at all like me, this is your place! The hours are the same daily, the amount of treatments and styles are vast, the location is PRIME, and the staff are so accommodating, I was thrilled by my first experience. love the facial. The treatments go as deep and as intense as you like, that's the best part, they really get what their clients need. No sales pressure, deep extractions (not too painful considering- but she isn't a lightweight). I WILL BE BACK!

Little to No Pain Experienced Whatsoever on the "ALL BARE" (aka full Brazilian) Wax!
I got my full Brazilian wax here today, and it wasn't nearly as terrifying as folks make it out to be. The procedure didn't last for more than ten minutes, and although not entirely painless, it was done as professionally as it could have been. Everything seemed clean and sanitary, and my aesthetician was very sweet and happy to answer questions.

Impossible to top!
I have been to just about every spa in this city but have found my home at metamorphosis. Tanya is the most personable and professional of anyone. She is a perfectionist in her work, never makes you feel rushed or that "double booked' feeling you get from other spas. She makes you feel comfortable while she is intense at her job. (best eyebrow waxing in town, not to mention perfect waxing job overall) She is one of the warmest and sweetest person I have found in this profession.
