I went to red oaks a few times last summer - I really enjoyed the wave pool - I took a book and that really helped defray the noise. There were quite a few children unsupervised. I rescued two of them - they were twins! They were screaming because they were so small that they falling thru their inner tubes even though they were wearing jackets. They were actually getting stuck under the tube because of the jackets. I understand the park is not responsible for idiot parents but hello - she practically set them adrift. The mother never even looked up from her chatting when I brought her children to safety. What a dork. When you are also a parent, it hard to ignore the screams of children. The lifeguards in the center of the pool were always doing a great job - every time I was there they actually rescued someone. The food was as expected - junk food - awesome! The locker rooms could be cleaner and the tables to eat on needed to be monitored, wiped down more often. The amount of tubes is adequate and the monitoring of tubes was great. Also, maybe some new chaise lounges. Another suggestion, the sides of the wave pool could be painted, with maybe some wave pictures or abstract. It just looks like it's old and needs brightening. Over all, I will definitely be back.

I went once a couple of years ago and had such a great time. The wave pool can get a bit full so be careful if you have young kids with you. We had my friend's little sister with us and we had to make sure the older kids weren't falling over her in the pool. They have a good area for really young kids/toddlers too which makes it perfect for the entire family.

This is a great summer activitiy, and they have done a nice job. A couple of issues if you are bringing a toddler... there are no bathrooms by the toddler area, you have to walk a ways, so plan ahead. The wave pool can get pretty crowed and the older kids don't watch what they are doing, so keep your eyes on the little one. Bring you own life jacket, because if they are busy they will run out of the small sizes. Well worth the trip because it is so close, but I will enjoy in more now that we know some of these key things.

I have come here in the past and been disappointed. It seem like it was always so dirty. However, the past two years it seems as if they really have improved things. We always end up going with a bunch of people and end up having a really great time.

This is really one of the better things you can do with your family on those hot summer days. Everyone enjoys it from little kids to adults, its fun for the whole family. The park is really nice and kept up and clean. The price is worth it compared to other water parks I have been to. Really a fun experience whenever you go.

Red Oaks is a nice place to take the kids especially when the weather is very hot.
The giant water slide is one the kids and adults will enjoy. The kiddie pool is nice for the little ones.
Dont forget to bring the suntan lotion or sunscreen.
Pricing is not too bad and closer than driving to the beach.

I go to Red Oaks Waterpark a few times of year with my family, we make a big day of it and everyone goes. It is a cool water park with slides and a wave pool, which is really fun. The park is clean and has chairs and stuff for rent. The admission is kind of steep but it's nice to have clean water to swim in verses the water at the lake. I enjoy going here but couldn't handle it every weekend, just a lot of commotion. The locker rooms are okay, not the cleanest but I'm sure it's hard to keep up with the number of people visiting.

Red Oaks water park is another really fun place to spend a hot summer day. I love their toddler pool, keeps our little busy while the older boys can go do all of the other water slides and everyone is happy! Next time you need to cool off, head on over to red Oaks Waterpark for some water fun.
