juniors cheesecakes are the best every one i met say so not to mention the food<and i know its very good also. as a worker working at juniors i find it very hard to work with my fellow workers because of racism and discremination and it start with the host the one that work at nights<he is so unfair the way he seat the customers he have his own people that he treated very welll and some unfair<not every customers he talk nicely to. somtimes i wonder how he getaway with stuff like that. juniors is a very nice place to work, and a nice place to eat the food is very good.
My friends and I have just come from this place tonight. We came from outside of the US and since we'd heard so much about it we wanted to go and experience it. Well, it is true, the cheesecake is good . However, we wanted to have a few sample and the waiter told us it was not possible. Therefore, still in a good mood I nicely asked if I could see the manager of the place to explain to him what we wanted. He never showed up and the Waiter told us about 1/2 hour later that the manager said he was not coming and if they don't have something, they don't have it! I found it very disrespectful from the manager to say something like that to a customer. In addition, the manger never came to talk to us or see us. Before I left the place I still asked to speak to him and someone came and introduced himself to me as the manager (I knew he was not but I still told what I thought about the situation that it was very impolite) and he did not know about it. How come? Did the waiter lie to us? Therefore I had had a very bad experience over there but the cheesecake was good but the place is not welcoming and the manager is not doing anything to give you that feeling...Don't think I will go back there When I will be back in NYC.
You by far make the best cheesecake in the world, that's why I cannot understand how you make the worst apple strudel I ever tasted.Mrbige47@aol.com, You should stop making the applestrudel, I don't know how you guys got away with this inferior product all these years
we had dinner here after we watched a show. the wait wasn't too long, which was good because we were all starved. i don't know what everyone else had, but i had the fried chicken and it was soooo good. and of course you can't go to juniors without trying the cheesecake. the cheesecake crust has a different texture. more like a pie crust than your usual graham cracker crust. it's different but still good.
Anytime that I am in Brooklyn, I always grab a slice of cheesecake from here, because its just so good. The cheesecake is not too thick and the ingredients are just right. The service is amazing here, never seen anyone so friendly. The place is clean, and also serves food. I haven't tried it yet, but want to and I'm sure I won't be dissapointed. I Highly recommend having a piece of cheese cake though.
Junior's is very well known for their cheescakes. One taste and you'll never buy from anyone else. Their cheesecakes have an incredible balance between texture and the flavor of cream cheese. But aside from being a bakery, Junior's is also a sit-down restaurant. Of course, the dessert menu is exactly what you'll find in their bakeries.
Look no further, the place you want to go for cheesecake is junior's. They have all kinds of cheesecake like carrot, strawberry, etc. but I still think the best one is the plain one. I believe cheesecake price is decent if you buy the entire pie instead of slices. A nice treat for you and your family once in awhile.
There is nothing better than having Juniors Cheesecake, but this place is even more that that. Stop in with a full belly and have their delicious corn bread, french onion soup and of course a slice of cheesecake. Even the coffee here is fantastic. I love it!
PROS: delicious cheesecake
CONS: pricey
I've always enjoyed going to Juniors. The place is super clean, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back. They are known for their world famous Cheesecake, voted #1 in NY by New York Magazine. They've been open for close to 50+ years I think. As soon as you enter, you see the section with the cheesecakes, pies, pastries and other cakes under glass. Every kind of cheesecake you can imagine including the plain and my favorite topped with whole strawberries or cherries. You can buy it by the slice or whole cake. I love the fact that you don't have to enter the entire restaurant to buy cheesecake or other desserts; they make sales right there for your convenience.
There's a waiter to seat you and they're prompt with menus and order taking. Large wine, beer and liquor selection. Delicious salads, entrees (lots of them) (try the ribs, steak or seafood--the roast or fried chicken is great too) and the wait for your food does not take an eternity. While you're waiting, check out the pictures of famous people that have stopped by. or just people watch the restaurant's other patrons. This place is also very family friendly. No one scorns families here, which is a rarity in restaurants these days.
Also, the bathroom is spotless as is the restaurant. The food' is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Huge portions too. I always have to get a doggy bag when I leave.
Highly recommended & they also cater parties & events.
UPDATE: Juniors has recently opened their first Manhattan location in Times Square. Same restaurant & goodness on a grander scale.
PROS: Excellent food, Best NY cheesecake, Family Friendly, Great Service & Clean
CONS: none
Nothing beats the original, the mid town one is nothing in comparison. The food is heaty and too filling. Desserts are to die for. Parking is impossible in this neighborhood, but worth the wait to find a space. Everyone recognizes the bag if you pick up a cheesecake to go.
Junior's offers World class cheesecakes in a wide variety of flavors--they even carry low carb options if you are watching carbs--or sugar free if you have Diabetes. Their cheesecakes are absolutely fantastic. If you are a cheesecake lover and have not tried their cheesecakes, you must try them. The prices are reasonable too. They are opened daily.
Yes this is the famous cheesecake that P. Diddy sent the members of Da Band to get him. I decided to see for myself how good this cheesecake really is. So I went there and I was not disappointed. I had a slice of a plain cheesecake which was about five dollars, quite a lot for a slice of cheesecake. But it was well worth it! That stuff was delicious!
Junior's Cheesecake has the best cheesecakes around Brooklyn. Even celebrities would come by and get a taste of the strawberry, chocolate and other fresh chesescake. It located right on Flatbush ave. Their customer service is excellent. Everybody should just stop by and take a taste at their fresh cheesecake.
