Country Way Bridals

Okay, this store has totally been the highlight of my bridal expirience. I went to all the bridal stores in the area and a couple in Phila. Country Way knew exactly what would look good on me, and allowed me to try on anything I wanted without any questions.Same when I went for my bridesmaids dresses.
They were honest and had great sugestions. They acted the same way when they got my money and everytime I went in after. I have to say the negative reviews couldn't be more wrong.
Yvonne came to the church to see me walk down the isle. She's real and her store is great. So if you want a great expirience go to Country Way, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.

These good reviews are all a sham!! Anyone who has every ordered anything from this store would know that. Maybe you were just trying on gowns but didn't actually buy anything when you had your so called wonderful experiences here. Let me tell you as others have said below, once they get your money forget it!! That woman should not be allowed to work with the public especially brides!! I will not say anymore I will just warn you as other have, this is not the place to take a chance on that's for sure!

Country Way Bridals is a fabulous store and Yvonne is terrific. My wife suggested I come along to help her shop for a mother of the bride dress. We went to Country Way because the brides maids dresses were purchased there. Understand that I consider dress shopping right above root canal on the fun things to do scale. I was pleasently surprised. Yvonne was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful beyond belief. She treats every customer as though they were the most important person in the world. She gave us almost 2 hours of her undevided attention. I would recommend Country Way Bridal without reservation.

This is by far the best store Ive been to for a few reasons. First there's a really well rounded selection of bridal gowns, stlye and prices. I thought that Yvonne really knew her stuff. She was honest and informative. I asked her how long she's been in b the bridal business and she said 3 years, but has been in fashion for 16 years total. And you can tell. I bought a beautiful Jim Hjelm gown of my dreams!
I had a great expirience at Country Way .

Give Yvonne a chance as she navigates her way thru this business. She hasn't been in it very long, but I'm sure that in time, she can master it if she chooses to. The word "bridezilla" became popular in our society because it speaks to the temporary "narssicism" and insanity that plagues many brides. Women go temporarily insane, going over budget,stressing everyone out, thinking they are the most important person on the face of the earth, lashing out at those closest to them. Take a step BACK ladies...Is it marriage that excites u or your PERFECT dress & the idea that u look perfect. I always say "it's not the dress, it's what's left after you take it off at the end of the evening"...I love dresses, have 3 daughters & will purchase their dresses from Yvonne someday. I hope we won't get carried away & break the bank. But, I know I can count on Yvonne's great style sense & her honest opinions if we need them & ask for them. If you need ur dress so perfect, ur just NOT THAT HOT:)

My mom and I went to about 3 other bridal stores. The selection at Country Way totally blew away any of the other stores selections. We have a moderate budget, and they showed us dresses that were beautiful while stil in our price range. I read the reviews and believe they couldn't be more wrong. The staff is very knowledgable and devoted to great customer service. Very personanable. It didn't feel stuffy or pretenious at all. I loved my experience at Country Way.

First class store with an excellent staff. The shop has a wide selection of beautiful dresses. Yvonne and the staff were even helpful with the selection of my accessories which were purchased elsewhere! I can't say enough about their personalized attention. I would refer all of my family and friends after such a great experience.

I got married in the summer of 2007 when The Country Way was still owned by Berge on Kings Highway in Cherry Hill. Stacy fitted me and Berge took care of me. When I found out that Berge sold it my stomach was in knots. I met Yvonne and clearly, she had no idea about what she was doing. My dress came in and it was the perfect size thanks to Stacy. I took my dress and ran. My sister is now getting married and we stopped in to try some dresses on. There were 2 young girls there who didn't seem like they wanted to be bothered. They put the dress on her and that was it. I pulled out the back of her train so she could see the back, I held the mirror for her. Needless to say she wont be going back.

THIS STORE MUST BE DOING SOMETING RIGHT!
I had an appt at Jay west and Irma's. First I went to Irma's and was sooo overwhelmmed , all the dresses are packed together so tight., theres 3 dressing rooms, you have to sign a list to get one of the changing rooms, and they told me I could only try on 4 dresses!! I thought that was really crazy. We left with a bad feeling.

Then we went to Jay West, cute store and the help was okay but they take you to the basement to look at wedding gowns???? In the basement? 3 dressing rooms the size of a small powder room? The dresses looked cheap. And they were pressuring me, when I said I kind of liked one dress. We said we wanted to keep looking and the sales girl got snippy.

We walked down the street to Country Way. We had no appt. They were so nice and immediatly Kelsey helped me with choosing some gowns to try on. Its was a really nice store with a good selection of bridal gowns. I was not rushed and i didn't feel pressured in anyway. I found a beautiful Marisa dress. Yvonne told me since I was just starting my search to go to trunk shows and shop around. That was really sweet, they weren't like trying to just get my money. I really love the dress and will probably get it but want to go to trunk shows like Yvonne suggested. What business owner tells u to shop around. My family and I were impressed. I will tell all my friends and co-workers about this store. My experience at Country Way was GREAT!! I really don't know what the bad reviews are talking about!!!

I am shocked to read some of the reviews. I feel like this is the best bridal store Ive been to so far.

They were so kind, and really helped me pick out everything from the right sizes for my girls to the right colors. I read one review that says the store is not that nice. What is she talking about??? Its by far the nicest store I've been in.
They have so many bridesmaids dresses, we must have tried on at least 40. They were patient and sweet,and we ended up staying 20 minutes past closing time. I think that I must be laid back because they were nothing short of great!! Im glad I went with ordering my bridesmaids dresses here.
There must be a lot of prissy brides, especially in the cherry hill area.

Guess what I read the reviews and I had to see what was up for myself. They have Martina Liana and I love those dresses. From the moment I walked in the door I loved this store. Im sorry others weren't happy here but I was satisfied and would recommend it to ALL of my friends. The staffs knowledge in addition to how helpful everyone was,gave me a good feeling.I have been to a few different bridal stores and like this one alot.

If you are looking for a nice well put together store, this is not the shop for you. Everything is all mixed together, when I was there all of the bridesmaid dresses were all mixed together, not seperated by designer or anything, same with bridal gowns. If you ask me, if it were my store and I was going to be charging astronomical prices for dresses and gowns I would at least take the time to put them in order. The problem may be because its a small store, with no room to move on a Saturday, or could be because the owners and workers are lazy. Either way I was def not wasting anymore of my time with this store. I wouldnt trust that they would get my order correct after seeing the store in such shambles.

I will tell you that as a future bride, I will steer clear of this place. I understand one or two bad reviews, but there is no way that this many people could lie about their awful experiences. Yvonne- or whomever is reading these reviews for her- change your tactics, b/c these reviews are enough to stop those like myself (and all of my engaged friends) from ever coming in!

This store is the WORST bridal store I have ever stepped foot in. Yvonne and all of her workers cannot be more rude. They care about one thing and that is getting your money. Once they do that they can give 2 craps. They lie about everything. Down to the fact that I had to ask for things in writing since all of my bridesmaids and my gown came in wrong. Please if anyone is thinking of going to this shop dont!!! No bride should have to deal with the negative people that own this shop. It should be a happy time and they make you miserable! Anyone reading these reviews PLEASE BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE reviews. They are the truth! I agree with a previous poster that all the positive reviews sound like they are coming straight from Yvonne herself. Anyone who has spoken to her knows that all these positive reviews is what she tells all her brides. Beware of this shop. I just reported them to the BBB. TERRIBLE!!!

I live close by this store and stop in occasionally to see whats new. They have some great dresses. I was attending a black tie affair. Yvonne (the owner) waited on me. She knows her stuff. She's knowledgeable and very straight-forward. She told me what was good for my shape and coloring. I felt very confident dealing with her and her shop. The dress came in on time and was exactly what I was looking for. I have read these other reviews and am very surprised. I had nothing but a great experience and will tell all friends and not just brides. Thank you to Yvonne and the other women who helped me from Country Way.

I live in VA and will be getting married in my hometown in NJ. I purchased my dress and bridesmaids dresses from this shop prior to its move it Haddonfield. I worked with Yvonne to choose my dress and the bridesmaids dresses. I found her to be helpful, caring, and knowledgeable about the line of dresses she had. My dresses were all ordered. I was called ahead of the scheduled date to come and try my dress on. When I got there the wrong dress had been ordered. Yvonne quickly placed a call to the designer and my new dress was there within two weeks. I was appreciative that she had ordered my dress so far in advance that we had time to solve this mistake. She was very apologetic. All of my bridesmaids dressed were ordered correctly. Every time I visit the shop the staff is warm and welcoming and Yvonne greets me by name. I was seriously appalled when I read the other reviews. Either I am very laid back about all of this or there are a lot of Bridezillas living in the area. Michelle Woodbridge, VA

I went to Country Way Bridal last year to see if they had a selection of Jim Helm bridesmaid gowns that my Daughter- In-Law could see to choice from since she had found different ones that she really liked for the girls on his website. When I first went there the owner Yvonne was really very nice, pleasant and very helpful to me. I explained why I was there and she showed me the collection of gowns she had in the shop so I told her I would send my daughter-in-law there to see them. When she went there with me we just had a very nice experience and just loved the owner Yvonne and the selection of gowns that are available. My daughter-in-law bought her wedding gown and the gowns for the bridal party there. I also, bought my gown for the wedding there because it is such a pleasure to shop there and everyone is very helpful and pleasant to you. My daughter-in-law also, had her friend go there and she loved it so much that she bought the gowns there for her wedding party. I would recommend Countryway Bridal to everyone that I know because of the atmosphere in the shop from everyone. GREAT PLACE! Wanda Ashmen

I used Country Way and right now am in the process of filing many complaints and wish to sew the store and owner as do many other brides that went to Country Way. To the post 2 down from me about the girl and her friend who used them and are happy, thats great I'm happy for you, but just a warning...Yvonne also pulled her little size chart out for me. She assured me that everything would be fine which of course it wasn't. When dresses came in with the wrong sizes she told me it was the manufacturers fault for sending wrong sizes. She tries to blame everything on anyone else but herself...she even blames her mother and other workers saying "oh you must have spoken to my mom on that or to Kelsey." They are a terrible shop and should be shut down! By the way...anyone that actually had any sort of converstation with Yvonne knows that all the positive reviews are written by Yvonne herself. Yvonne if you are going to keep writting fake reviews on your store, at least try to disguise yourself a little better! Future brides...stay far away from this shop they add so much added stress to your wedding planning. There are so many better shops around that actually care about their customers!!!

My entire experience with country way has been amazing! the owner is the best person to work with she is so friendly and easy going. If you respect her she respects you! She is very knowledgeable on her business and very personable! She takes so much time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. She is almost like a friend now lol. I did not order my bridal gown from country way. However I did order my bridesmaids dresses (8) and a junior from them. My girls dresses came in before planned and they even worked with me to set up a date so that the girls had plenty of time to pay the dresses off and that the payment week was not around the holidays (which it should have fallen the week of Christmas) One of my bridesmaids is also out of state and they worked GREAT with her! I truly can not say one bad thing about this salon! I would recommend this place to anyone whom wants beautiful dresses, good prices, and excellent service! Going beyond the call of duty to please and help out their customers!

My best friend got her wedding dress and our bridesmaids gowns at the Country Way. She never had any problems so when it came time for me to look for my gown, of course I stopped in there. I found the perfect dress last weekend and then I started reading these reviews online (especially the last one) and got really worried that something was going to go wrong. Since Kimberly (my friend) had had such a good experience, I decided to ask the owner about the reviews (there are always two sides to everything right). She assured me that despite all the reviews, dresses don't typically come in in the wrong size. She took my measurements and pulled out a size chart for the dress I wanted and showed me what size she thought I should be. I could see how even losing a few pounds (which is what she told me happened in one case) could make a huge difference between sizes. She also assured me that her seamstress was really great and has taken dresses down several sizes if I did lose weight (which I was thinking about doing - but she didn't recommend) Anyway, I can't speak for anyone but me and Kim, but she had a great experience, and I am comfortable with everything that Yvonne told me and I put down the payment on my dress. I hope that anyone else who has reservations just asks what is going on and makes a decision for themselves.

These reviews must be from their friends, family members, or themselves. The experience I had completely mirrored the negative reviews, so it's hard for me to believe anything else. My wedding date was set for 5/16/09. I visited Country Way 6/19/08 to order my bridal gown. I was told that the dress would arrive in 6 months, but probably by 11/08. They had no problem taking my deposit, but as the other ladies have stated they mess up constantly & blame the client every time. I called to check the status of my dress 10/16/08. They didn't call back until 10/31/08, to tell me the dress wouldn't arrive until 3/25/09?? I'm Sorry??? I came in a year prior so the dress would be here, and I wouldn't have to worry about it. They said they go by wear date, but failed to tell me this at the start. I advised them it was not acceptable to me to try on my dress for the 1st time 6 weeks prior to my date, because that is why I ordered it so early. What if something went wrong? They advised me they would pay to expedite it. I was then called back and advised they could expedite for an addl $100, which I refused to pay. This was their fault. Long story short, the dress arrived 3/13/09. No Expedite of course. I picked it up 3/28/09, only to discover it was much too big. After waiting 10 months, I was fed up. I went back to the shop, fiance in tow, to request a refund. The alleged owner yelled in my face and said, "YOU'RE NOT GETTING IT!!" She also told me I was that size before, (which i had never been), & that I was being unreasonable, and she had a feeling I was unreasonable with a lot of establishments. I had just met the owner the day I went in to request a refund. She acted as if she knew me prior with the statements she was making.Their solution, provided by the owners mother, was that they had seen this dress altered before, and they could alter it for me, for a fee of course. I asked ifI advised that after 10 months, I felt it should be free, to which they said no by saying they would quote the price first before alteration. I notice for every negative review, there is a positive one. They must have their friends updating this constantly. If you are considering going here, please don't. No one deserves to be treated this way. I was so miserable after leaving I told my fiance we should elope.

I was nervous at first, because of some of the reviews. I can't tell you how wrong they are!!!
Yvonne and Kelsey handled my whole wedding party. They knew every dress and helped each girl( every girl wore a different gown) pick out what was good for their body type. I was impressed how they made me feel confident about each decision I made. I feel like the rest of the bridal stores I went to were just mediocre. Country Way went the extra mile.
They discounted my girls dresses as well as my gown.
The reviews that are negative on this site couldn't be more wrong. Trust me I'm a shopper and I work in customer service they go the extra mile here.

I went looking here for my bridal gown and loved what I found but decided to continue looking. I went back to country way because they had the gown for the cheapest price. Well I guess you can say you get what you pay for. Although the gown was cheaper here than at other shops, the customer service here was TERRIBLE!! I would've rather have paid hundreds of more dollars and have dealt with a better owner and workers than the ones at Country Way. Everyone from Yvonne, Lynn, and the people under them that they have working for them were rude as could be and wanted nothing to do to help once the dress came in and they had their money. They had to make a ton of alterations to my gown because they mis-measured me and then tried to blame me. Saying to my face that I must have gained at least 20 pounds since I got measured 6 months ago! Have you ever heard of a bride gaining 20 pounds beofre their wedding? If it was the opposite and they lost weight that I could understand. My advise to anyone thinking of going there is DONT GO!! But if you do...be careful with sizing, make sure they go over what size they are going to order you and make sure they show you the actual size chart and that she write down the size they are going to order you on your receipt so you have some sort of proof! They constantly LIE!! Please trust me these negative reviews are true!!!

I decided to go to Country Way after ordering dresses from them for a friend's wedding. The dresses for that wedding came in very fast and without problems. I needed alterations and they were not at all pushy about me taking the dress to my own tailor for alterations.

When it came time to order the dresses for my own wedding I chose Country Way because of my previous good experience with them and their huge selection of Jim Hjelm bridesmaid dresses. I have 10 girls all wearing different gowns and Yvonne couldn't have been more accommodating. The whole process was hectic and confusing for me...and Yvonne acted like it was no big deal. I probably drove her insane, calling quite a few times and visiting the store 5 times in a month. But she was still very nice and kept my nerves at bay. She's awesome, even keeping the store open late for us while the girls tried on dresses looking the the perfect one.

I'm really happy that I ordered dresses from here. I must admit I was hesitant after reading some of the bad reviews. I've been in many weddings, and I know that dress shops deal with a large variety of brides (zillas). If you give yourself enough time and speak to people the way you like to be spoken to, you generally get the good results you are looking for.

Thank you to Country Way for helping make my bridal party look fabulous!!!

I am so surprised to see negative comments here! I was married in December 2008. From the moment I walked into Country Way Bridal to the day of my wedding, everything regarding this store was a pleasure. This Mother/Daughter Duo is a attentive and truly wants you to have the perfect day. This was proven when Yvonne, owner of the store, made a trip to Philadelphia to find me the best price and meet my budget for shawls for the flower-girls. I could never have found the material to match the Jim Hjelm color and definitely didn't have the time. She was a saving grace! The dressing rooms are large, so many girls can try dresses on at one time and the selection is large. I and thankful to Yvonne and Lynne for making my bridal experience a great one and recommend them to you, without hesitation.

I am writing this review as a bridesmaid. I was in a friends wedding recently that used Country Way for everything, Bridal gown, Bridesmaid dress...you name it they got it there. I was with my friend during the whole trying on dresses for both her and the bridesmaids. And I agree while we were in our beginning stages Yvonne and Lynn were wonderful...until our dresses came in. We all went to pick up our dresses they had them all completely wrong. I am a very small girl...usually wear a size zero jeans and they ordered me a size 10 dress. Then they tried to blame it on the company (Jim Heljm) saying that they must have sent the wrong dresses to Country way. This was completely wrong. This happened with most of the dressses. They refused to help rectify the situation. Instead just said its out of their hands and we could have alterations! All of us bridesmaids were switching dresses around to see whose fit who a little better. It was a mess. Yvonne and Lynn really do not seem fit to run a business. Its ashame they are even allowed to own a business. They really have no people skills or customer service skills. Please all you future brides thinking about going to Country Way...do not listen to these positive reviews (they were probably written by Yvonne herself) Listen to the negative ones...they are the truth!

I can't help but notice there seems to be the same person or bridal party from Trenton that keeps writing bad reviews on this store.
I didn't have any issues with my daughters experience at this store. They were friendly and helpful from the first time to the last minute when she picked up her dress. I feel bad this store is getting a bunch of bad reviews, but its seems to be one person. This is a good place don't let one irate person dissuade you from going to this store.They are a small bridal store with a really good selection and knowledgeable employees. Lyn kept in-touch with us trough out the whole process. They sent Thank-you cards. They sent swatches when we forget to request them. Mind you this is my second daughters wedding. Ive been through this before with another bridal shop in town. Truthfully I prefer Country Way they were more personable.
I'm happy that they have forms like this for the customers but when people take advantage of it, its not fair to the people .

All these positive reviews must be written by the same person because I cannot say enough NEGATIVE things about this shop. The owners are only nice to you until your dress comes in. After it arrives in the store they are nasty, mean, and lie about everything. When you call to talk to them they actually hang up on you mid conversation or pretend like they cant hear what your saying...all because they dont know how to deal with customers. This store should be shut down! Its ashame because the previous owner of Country Way had a great reputation...Yvonne and Lynn let it go all downhill. They shouldnt be allowed to run a business the way they do!

Ok, now here's an example of not believing everything you hear! I have been working with Yvonne and Kelsy. They have been NOTHING but helpful. I cant say enough good about the customer service and selection. We came here for bridesmaids dresses, they literally have like hundreds. I ended up buying my bridal gown here as well. I tried the same gown on at Bridal Garden( way to pushy and your really just a $$ to them) bridal Garden was $300 more for the gown and the customer service and atmosphere at Country Way was SOOO much more comfortable. Just what I imagined my experience bridal gown shopping to be.

This store is the size of my 1 bedroom apartment in philly crammed with bridal gowns & bridesmaids. All of the dresses are out for every one to pick through. My mom and I spent 10 min there and looked at every dress they had. Not worth our time.

When I started researching for my wedding dress, the designer I fell in love with right away was Eve of Milady. I did a search to see who carried their line and Country Way Bridals came up. I called to set up an appointment the following week. I have to say from the moment that my mother and I walked through the door, Yvonne was as nice as could be. I told her exactly what I wanted and right away she started pulling dresses! Never once did she pressure me into purchasing that day. She even allowed me ample time in each dress so I could imagine what the gown would look like in my size, etc. The last dress I tried on was "the one"! It was everything I wanted and more. Country Way was not carrying Eve of Milady anymore, but she was willing to sell me the sample for practically wholesale price!! Yvonne would not accept the deposit until she showed the gown to her seamstress, just so she knew that the dress could be made to fit my body. What type of bridal salon actually refuses money!!! Thats when you know you found a very genuine store! The seamstress absolutely works miracles because when I tell you that she took that size 12 dress and made it to fit me,(who wears a size 0 jeans) without destroying the look of the dress, now thats talent! You would have never have known that dress was a sample. As for the bustle on my gown, it had a cathedral train, all beaded. The seamstress put 13 snaps,hooks,buttons,etc. to make sure the train didn't drag when bustled. She even numbered which button went with what strap so they didn't get mixed up! The day of my wedding I had got so many compliments on my gown, and everyone actually thought the train came off! Thats how good the bustle was! I would highly recommend Country Way Bridals for your wedding gown!!! The staff is absolutely fabulous!!!! Yvonne even let borrow her real fur wrap at NO CHARGE for the day of my wedding! Thanks so much everyone at Country Way Bridal for all your help that you have given me!!!!

Okay I've had been dealing with Country Way for almost a year, I had 8 BM's and 4 flowergirls and of course my dress. NOT one person was dissatisfied. We had a wonderful experience. They were sincere and truly sad when I took my dress out for my wedding. I loved this little shop and truly liked working with everyone there. I had a beautiful wedding and I can't thank Country Way enough. A TRULY GREAT PLACE, THANK YOU.
PS.Oh and they have a remarkable seamstress.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses here since they were the only store in the area to carry Jim Hjelm. The first trip was nice; I ordered the dresses through the mother with all my bridesmaid's sizes. She originally said the dresses were supposed to be in two weeks before the wedding (should've been a red flag!), but when I said that I would need to reconsider my order and was about to walk out, she made a phone call to the supplier and said they would be in about 2 months before. I assumed she had made an agreement with the supplier for earlier delivery. On the 2 month mark, I called to inquire about the dresses. Yvonne answered, and told me that no one in her shop would have EVER given me an exact date. Now, the mother had specifically given me a date to call, saying that was when the dresses were expected. So I said fine, just a miscommunication. Yvonne said to call in a month. When I called in a month to inquire again, she called me a liar again! She said she would have NEVER told me that new date. I eventually received the dresses about 3 weeks before the wedding, and my bridesmaids were able to make the last minute alterations, but I am still surprised I actually received the dresses. If I were a bride, I would steer clear of Country Way Bridals.

I feel that everyone should know what a terrible owner this shop has! Something will def go wrong and they will blame it on everyone but who really deserves the blame...which is themselves. I wish I did some research on this shop before I went and ordered my gown and bridesmaid dresses there...Just by looking at all the negative reviews on this shop I def would not have went there! One piece of advice...do research on the shop you choose before ordering...I actually just looked them up on the BBB because after what I had to go thru someone recommended me to report them...seems like Im not the only one...they have complaints on them thru the BBB and have an "unsatisfactory" rating by the BBB.

When I first went to Country Way, I was so excited to be working with Yvonne and Lynn (the owners of the store) While I was trying on dresses they were both very blunt in what looked good and didnt look good. Which I liked. After my dress and bridesmaid dresses were ordered, EVERYTHING began to go wrong! They have absolutely no customer service and scream and yell at you and blame all their mistakes on you! It came down to the fact that they ordered my dress and 2 bridesmaid dresses in the wrong sizes and I was supossed to have all mine and the girls dresses in 4 months before my wedding (since I ordered them 10 months before my wedding) and they didnt come in until 2 months before the wedding and we all needed to rush around to get alterations done elsewhere since we were not letting anyone in that shop touch any of our dresses after the horror stories I heard about them! I really wish i read reviews on them before I visited and ordered from this store. They are nice in the beginning and then completely rude once they have your money! Trust me read all the negative reviews on the place and believe them! I dont believe any of these positive reviews! They were probably written by Yvonne herself!

I had an wonderful expierience at Country Way. They are sweet people to deal with until the very end.They discounted everything I purchased. The alterations were impessive . I went back 4 times, i lost weight 2 weeks before my wedding.I shopped others stores for prices and everytime I found a price they beat it.I especially loved Yvonne and want to thank her for her genuine input. I would send everyone i know there. They have a great store with EXCELLENT SERVICE>

Yvonne and Lynn are the fakest people I have ever met! They seem like such nice people while you are dress shopping and while your waiting for your dress to come in...then after it comes in they become the bitchest women ever. Neither one of them know how to handle any problems as they arise nor do they care. They both run away from all of the problems (actually leaving the store) and leave their 18 year old workers there to deal with the problems. And when you call during the day to try to reach either of them they refuse to come to the phone when someone else answers or just refuse to answer the phone at all. Worst run business I have ever been in contact with!!!!

Like "anonymous" below, I too have never written a negative review before but I too feel everyone should know how terrible the owners of Country Way are towards their customers. I went to Country Way bridal in Cherry Hill, ordered my wedding gown, veil and 9 bridesmaid dresses. They seemed so nice the first couple of times you are in there so helpful...until something goes wrong, and trust me with them it will. To begin, they ordered every girl the wrong size dress, probably so that they could get money for alterations. When none of the girls wanted alterations done by the store, they told me that they measured each dress that was too small and told me that the dresses were mis-cut at the factory and they would send them back for the correct dresses. Yvonne and Lynn both assured me the dresses would be in on time for the wedding and that they would be correct when they arrived back to the store. I stayed in contact with the dress store for the past 3 months asking when the dresses would be arriving to their store. They kept saying "next week", it is now 3 weeks before my wedding and they just called today saying they were in. I drove 40 minutes back to the store to pick up the dresses and come to find out they are the SAME DRESSES , they never sent them back. Now 3 weeks before my wedding I have dresses that fit my bridesmaids. Throughtout this whole experience they have lied to me over the phone and to my face. Not to mention screamed and yelled at both me and my mother calling us obsurd names. I couldnt even believe someone can treat customers the way they do! The mother and daughter have absolutely no people skills and lie constantly. I have spent thoudsands of dollars in their store and they did nothing to even try to help the situation, except lie about everything.

I started my dress shopping last year and fell in love with the 2nd dress I tried on a Country Way Bridal. Not only did I feel comfortable with the shop owner (the mother-- I believe her name is Lyn?), but she was extremely nice to me and my family. She has been nothing but helpful and accommodating to us!!

I know that there are times that I've been there are things have seemed hectic-- the phones are ringing nonstop and they are running in 100 different direction, but here's the thing: this is a SMALL, privately owned business!! If you want personalized customer service, you have got to be willing to deal with some of the hiccups that come with buying from a smaller shop!

I was beyond happy because they were very helpful when I was picking out my dress, gave me a 10% discount and have really gone out of their way to make sure that I am happy with my dress. I can see how people would misinterpret their casual, upfront style as rude, but they're just being a mother and a daughter who run a dress shop and deal with hundreds of high-strung women a week-- so expect them to say exactly what they think from time to time! I think that anyone who comes from a large, strong-minded family will be very familiar with their personality (especially the Italian ladies out there!)

If you don't want a seller with personality, shop at David's Bridal. If you want to buy a beautiful dress from real people who will give you more attention and treat you like a person rather than a number, then come here.

The bottom line is this shop has a lot of selection and very pretty gowns, despite being small, and you are able to look through the selection without being hounded or having someone breathe down your neck (the experience I had at other shops). Take some of the reviews you read with a grain of salt: these are good, honest people and if you work with them, they'll work with you.

Wow, a lot of people have very bad opinions of this place! I didn't get my dress there but I stopped in to try on bridal gowns and peaked at bridesmaids dresses. I was expecting a lot larger of a selection. I guess it's kindof a hit or miss place. I was a miss...but from the looks of the reviews that may be a very good thing.

I've never written a negative review before but after my experience with Country Way Bridals, I feel compelled to do so. I want to worn other brides so they don't have to go through the FRUSTRATION and HUMILIATION that I went through. Before choosing to get my wedding gown from Country Way Bridals, I like other brides did my research and read up on the reviews. I was a little concerned at first with all the negative reviews, however I went there twice for my bridal gown and another time for the bridesmaids dresses and each time, Yvonne and her mom and staff were very nice. Also, I agree that her prices are reasonable and if you ask for discount, she will most likely give it to you. So despite the negative reviews, I thought my experience with Country Way Bridals was good and she gave me a good price on my wedding gown. However, I didnt write my review yet b/c as a lot of the reviews here suggest, the CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES DOWNHILL ONCE YOU PURCHASE YOUR DRESS from them. So when my dress came in, I made an appointment to go try it on. She put me in a room with one of her workers (who apparently was the seamstress). I didnt know this and she didnt say she was a seamstress. Once my appointment was done, the woman told me all the alterations would be $295 which I thought was really pricey. So I told her I wasnt going to get it there. Im going to take it somewhere else. She proceeds to tell me that shes going to charge me $25 for the appointment, which was never disclosed to me prior to the appointment that I would need to pay. Ive made appointments there three times before and I never had to pay. So I told her I wanted to speak with Yvonne. When my sister, maid of honor and I went to outside of the room to speak with Yvonne, we explained what happened. We went back and forth about the misunderstanding, but Yvonne started YELLING at me with really big bulging eyes and angry face. I dont care what happens, you dont yell at your customers and this was at the main desk open area. Its UNPROFESSIONAL and DEGRADING and you dont treat your customers that way. She yelled that if I wanted to walk out with the dress, pay the $25 or Im not leaving with the dress. Are you serious? Youre going to YELL at your customer over a little dinky $25. When she started yelling, I told her she didnt have to yell, that I didn't agree with her business practices and that I would never recommend anyone to her store. I paid the balance and the $25 and left. It was not worth my time to stoop as low as her and yell and no one deserves to be treated that way. Obviously it was a misunderstanding that could have been resolved easily and professionally. Had she not yelled at me, I would have referred so many of my friends to her. I have 4 weddings this year and so many more in 2009 and 2010 to go to. I would have written a wonderful review. Unfortunately, I will not be able to. Girls and brides to be, you dont need additional stress and people yelling at you. You have a wedding to plan. BEWARE, Yvonne and her staff may be really nice to you and give you a good price, but once you get your dress, forget the customer service. Also, if you read the good reviews, most of them were before the dress came in and the negative reviews were after the dress came in. I recommend that you wait till your dress comes in before writing your good reviews. TRUST ME, DO NOT GO TO COUNTRY WAY BRIDAL, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I was shocked to hear some of the negative reviews about Country Way Bridal and felt the need to write my own review. My soon to be Mother in Law stopped in the shop just to see what they had and called me that night to tell me how nice Yvone was and that I should stop in. I went back with her a few days latter and loved the store not only do they carry every Jim Hjelm dress Yvone explained in detail all of my options and was able to answer all my questions. I came back again with both my mom and mother in law. My mother was just has pleased with the service (my mother is not easily pleased). I told Yvone what I wanted to spend and she wouldn't let me try anything on over my budget b/c she didn't want me to fall in love with something too expensive and be disappointed about not being able to afford it or stressing out over paying for it. How may people in sales would do that? Like I said before my mom isn't the easiest women, she says it like it is, Yvone was so sweet and was happy to answer all my mom's questions. The 3rd time I went in was for the brides maid dresses and she was very busy and like some of the other reviews I did have an appointment and we did wait for about 20 min, so what! I would never write a bad review about that. Who hasn't waited at a doctors office or at the hair salon these things happen. But just like every other time Yvone was very helpful and my brides maids had so many dresses to choose from. I am a bargen shopper and I did my homework Country way Bridal's prices are very far and give better discounts then most bridal salons. Since then I have been in the shop one other time and spoke with Yvone once and her mother once, my mom has spoken with Yvone two times and they have been nothing but helpful. The same people are quick to complain but most times wouldnt think twice to send a thank you note or post a positive review when they are happy with service. I have bin in 9 weddings and I can tell you 1st hand most of the time brides wait until the last minute then get upset when something goes wrong. A wedding takes a lot of time and planning. my best advice to any one considering going to Country way Bridal or any other Bridal shop is to take time and do things as early as possible b/c something will come up, weather it is the flowers, music, or the dresses. The bottom line is that Country Way Bridal has hundreds of great dresses and they are reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier and if you are organized and plan ahead I think you will also have a great experience!

I purchased my dress and my bridesmaids dresses from this store. Long story short, my maid of honor arrived to her fitting two weeks before the wedding (which I confirmed multiple times with Yvonne) and they had lost her dress. The owners tried to convince us it would be okay since she was the maid of honor to wear a different dress. This was not acceptable so they said that they had another bridal party with the same dresses and they took one of those for her to wear. I compared the maid of honor dress to another dress the day before the wedding and the fabric color was NOT the same. Either they tried to pull one over on us or they were not smart enough to realize it wasn't the same dress. We called them and they had the nerve to tell us that they had found the dress crumpled on the floor of their basement, but did not have the decency to call us beforehand. We would NOT recommend this store. They were unprofessional and rude to us and during this ordeal and they didn't do a thing to step up and handle this awful situation.

I drove an hour and half to go this store only to be waiting another 30 minutes because they had ONLY 2 dressing rooms and the people in the other rooms were taking 40 minutes to an hour longer than their original appointment time. The owner didn't even attempt to politely tell the other groups to finish up because they were an hour overdue and when I nicely asked her she refused. You know, it's really nice of the owner not wanting to kick out a group from the dressing room but it is unacceptable to have another person wait for a half hour past her original appointment time. If that's the case, why even bother making appointments? I was ready to walk out when one of the group finally finished, which by the way had only one mirror and not the 'main' room by their own language where the bride usually tries her dress on. What a waste of my time!! The only good thing I can say is the girl actually helping me with trying on the dresses was very sweet and helpful. Hopefully, she'll find a better employer soon.

Ok- I was nervous about going to this shop b/c of some of the reviews. I wanted to go though b/c they carried a certain Jim Hjelm dress I wanted. I have to say that it was a GREAT experience and I would refer this place to anyone. This week I went two nights in a row with diff 'maids, and both times loved it. I normally don't write reviews but I had too for this b/c I want girls to know my experience was a great one.

This is a store that should be closed down! The people that used to own the store are sorely missed. Their former business is going down, down, down! The new owner: they're nasty, they lie, and they have no conscience whatsoever.

This is the 4th time I'am a bridesmaid. 2nd time I used Country Way , 1st time, however with the new owner.Needless to say I know the drill. Not only is the store nicer inside and out, the customer srevice is much better. I'm relieved our bridal party had no issues, all 6 girls were happy with alterations and service.They did a awesome job.

After reading reviews on all the bridal stores in this area, I was nervous EVERY review for ALL the stores practically were bad.I persevered and visited a hand full. I came back to Country way because the we're really nice and it was sincere not just to get my business. They"re selection was pretty and they had many bridesmaids dresses to choose from. I ended up with a tara keely wedding gown(the sample) and Yvonne gave it to me for half price.I know how busy these stores must be so I'm thinking a large percentage of girls must be happy. Thank god I'm in the percentage that is happy> Yvonne did right by me and my bridal party. Thank you Yvonne!!! I will send girls to your store!!!

I was measured by the owners mother for a bridesmaids dress and did not place my dress order that day bc I wanted to make sure the bride did not change her mind. I went in about a week or 2 later to place my order and the owner looked at the measurements and wanted to remeasure me. She made a comment to me that her mom's measurements were all wrong and laughed about it. I didn't make a fuss over it but I thought about it after I left the store and if I had ordered my dress the first time with all the wrong measurements my dress would have came in the wrong size. Granted, the mother of the owner sized me too big I still would of had to pay a lot more for alterations.

When dealing with the owner and her mother at Country Way, make sure that you have the two of them in front of you when discussing any type of concern. If not, the mother says "I didn't say that," or the owner says "You must have spoken to my mother about that matter." Give me a break. These two need some better communication. I had miscommunication issues in regards to the size of my dress, appointment dates and times, and dates checks would be deposited. If I wanted this aggravation, I would have dealt with my own mother and grandmother.
