Pretty area for an event or picnic

by Eu Nice L. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,629

The Jewel Box located in Forest Park and can be hard to find. It is mostly used for weddings or other events but is open to the public at other times.

Admission is free on Monday and Tuesday mornings. If you're looking for a quieter spot in Forest park to picnic, this would be it. There are flowers planted around the greenhouse as well as inside the building, so it is very pretty even if you are just passing through.

A great place to visit, or for a wedding

by Jen K. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 561

This is one of the most popular ceremony sites in Saint Louis. So much that you have to reserve it a year or more in advance.

This is an art deco floral conservatory and just gorgeous. It is surrounded by rose gardens, lily ponds, and monuments. Admission is $1 but it is free in the mornings on Mondays and Tuesdays, so go then if you can.

Located in Forest Park, it's a great little side trip when you visit the Zoo or Science Center.
