To Whom It May Concern,
On January 18th, 2007 at approximately 7pm, my wife went into First Run in James City to return a couple of movies, one of which we were unable to watch due to content that goes against our religious beliefs. There was no indication on the cover that the movie was filled with the graphic content we encountered in the 10 minutes we had it on. She asked the woman behind the counter if she could exchange it for something different and was laughed at and told that they don't do exchanges. My wife returned to the car and I went in with the intention of choosing a couple other movies to rent. However, upon entering the store I heard the woman behind the counter belittling and badmouthing a "stupid woman" who wanted to exchange a movie. She described my wife's request as "priceless stupidity" and went on and on about it (in front of two other customers). Her demeanor and actions were totally unnecessary and unprofessional (the other customer agreed with the fact that she was completely out of line). Needless to say, I did not rent the movies that I intended to rent, nor do I have any plans of going back to a place where representatives treat their customers like garbage. My experience there will be reviewed on every internet review site I can find, as well as forwarded to everyone I know in and around this area. I would like to save them all from having the same experience with harassment that I had. I'm sorry you ended up with such a bad employee and that she may be the cause of a great loss in customers.
Sincerely, A very unhappy customer

This is a new store location. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Recently I rented a NEW, first night out, DVD and had trouble with it skipping in my machine. I returned it to the store where it was cleaned and returned to me. No other copies available because it was brand new. Back at home I still had problems but when I returned it the next day they gave me credit for my next rental. Customer service as it should be.
