We visited the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum while at the Western Reserve Historical Society as its right across from that in the same building.

The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum exhibits more than 130 antique and classic automobiles, motorcycles, and aircraft.

It is one of the top ten automobile collections in the country (according to Car Collector magazine).
They have an 1897 Pahnahrd et Levassor and cars made in Cleveland, as well as Bobby Rahal's 1982 March Indy Car, which was the first winner of the Cleveland 400.

the collection comes more up to date with Bobby Rahal's 1982 March Indy Car, which was the first winner of the Cleveland 500. They also have a car from Cleveland's pioneer car maker, Alexander Winton. They have his very first car sold, along with the Winton Bullet which held a land speed record in 1902.

They have the Curtiss Hydroaeroplane from around 1912-1914, flown by Cleveland's aviator, Al Engel.

It's interesting to see how far cars and airplanes have progressed. They have the single-sized airplanes in bright colors that were designed decades ago - some looking very fragile. It was difficult to imagine a plane that size fighting winds or rains, or traveling over a long distance, and it makes you appreciate how far aircrafts have come along, and where they'll be going in the next 50 years!
