Very good stafff, They need more up to date stuff. Maybe need more funding. Dr. Morrow is always helpful and so is Dr. Smith. The Attitude of some of the visitors need to change. Sometime it take long, but what Doc Offices you know of get U in and Out. If we didnot have Pedia Doc then What! Please people Complain about thing we really need in the Community.

LOVE Dr. Dennis-Smith WHEN I see her, but her partner, Dr. Morrow -- she needs to go to Bedside Manner 101 class ASAP! Everytime my son had to see her partner, it would just put me in a mood - a BAD ONE! And he also responded to her lack of "kid friendliness"...geez..at least Dr. Smith puts toys on her stethoscope...this chick walks in like: "Pshh...another kid...great..."
The only good things about this practice are: 1- their concept of separating the well kids from the sick kids in two separate rooms;and 2- the extremely nice nurses. Other than that...fuggedaboutit!!! I just can't tolerate the uncleanliness, messiness, and outdated "free clinic" feel of that place ANYMORE! I am now back to my original Dr - who I should NEVER HAVE LEFT...my mistake. (Guess I just wanted to see who else was out there just in case...) Anyway, they have SO much junk in that front office, it's amazing that they can find the patient files or anything else. And like the other reviews - the wait times are RIDICULOUS! If you have a sick child and need to walk-in...gee whiz! They need a better system for when you're the first to arrive for a walk-in sick visit because a person could pull up in the parking lot wayyyy after you and get to the sign in sheet before you - because you're struggling to get your kid out of the car - and they get seen before you because they're able to sign up FIRST - EVEN THOUGH they were technically after you. If they would simply OPEN THE DOORS ON TIME or a few minutes before time, and let you AT LEAST sign in and SIT DOWN, instead of WAITING IN THE COLD WITH A SICK CHILD - these issues could be alleviated.
A "shiftless mentality" front desk personnel...I called to reschedule a visit promptly when the practice opens, and someone answered. Ok-- great, right? WRONG! This "receptionist" asked for all my kid's information (please remember this point), as though she was "READY TO WORK and reschedule him" and then says: "Well, I'm just walkin in so YOU will need to call me back, cuz I don't have a pen and paper." UMMM...WHAT??? Did she REALLY just make me go through alllllllllllll of that to say basically, she just "happened" to answer the phone - during what was SUPPOSED TO BE their WORK hours???!!! Ha!
Needless to say - I have since moved on.
What's scary to me is that they have now opened a daycare facility --- geeeeeeeeeeeeee whiz!!! I can ONLY imagine how "professionally" run that place is based on their practice.
I understand completely that there's a need for great docs on the SW side, and that Dr. Smith is trying to meet that demand, but...at what cost??? Is it really fair to treat the underpriveleged with unprofessionalism and less than stellar accommodations because that's where you are? They deserve better. I am not underpriveleged and I'm offended that this is acceptable.
Bottom line: Don't go. Make the drive/take the bus for BETTER services and clean facility for your kids.

The office is dirty, the rooms are outdated and the office staff is horrible. The ladies at the front desk are rude old biddies who wont even give you so much as a smile. The wait is at least an hour for a scheduled appointment. The doctor prescribed a medicine for my child that i found out later causes ceizsures and even death. I loved the two nurses but everything else about this office is a definate no no.

I attempted to switch my daughter from a Dr's office on the Northside to Pedia Doc. The location was great and Dr. Dennis receives rave reviews from the majority of her patients. However, we arrived around 2:00 pm and it was dark outside when we left. I do not remember how long we were in the waiting room, with all of the sick children, but it was a long time. The office was dirty and patients were sitting on top of each other. Needless to say, we transferred our files back in a hurry, but since then have found to wonderful Southside Dr's that give outstanding service. Dr Smith needs to re-evaluate her staff and the practice.

Dr. Dennis Smith is very nice and this is nothing against her. However, her front office staff is horrible and the office is nasty. Why would you want to work in a nasty office. I always have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for a scheduled appointment however they take my co pay after 15 minutes. The doctors office has a 'free clinic' feel and the front office staff has an attitude to match. The Newnan office is cleaner but the front office staff is still not great and you still have to wait all day. I would not recommend them to anyone and I am going to leave myself.

Dr. Dennis-Smith has seen my 10 years old daughter since she was 2 years old. This office has really decline over the years. The front office staff are very unprofessional and rude. The facility is dirty and has an unclean odor (Pedia Doc on Campbelton Rd.). They change policies without notification to the clients. Dr. Dennis-Smith is a great doctor when she at this location on the other hand Dr. Marrow needs to work on her bedside manner. The nurses are wonderful (Jamilla & Rosie) but I can't continue to come to a place where you have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for a schedule appointment but if you are 10 minutes late then they reschedule your appointment. The office need to upgrade they need a website/ email so that we can communicate without the hassle of the front office

My kids were patients for 4 yrs.The visit started of good we would seen Dr Dennis-Smith alot then she started working more at another location more .Then we started to Dr.Morrow and most of those visits with her were not comfortable for me or my children.She did not seem to be interested in the kids . Dr.Dennis-Smith was great with the kids. The office staff is unprofessional and can be unhelpful at times.The smell of this office is horrible,the wall are dirty in the patients room, pictures on the wall have dust on them, the play and waiting area toys are dirty most of the equipment that the children play with is broken .They charge a fee for every documentation that they give out.When I first went to this office I thought this would be a great place for my children.But in the end this was dream turning into a nightmare.I would not recommend this doctor's office to anyone.You had to wait hours as if you were at Grady emergency room before you could see a doctor.The only loving and caring people their was the nurse staff.

Dr. Dennis-Smith was my pediatrician and I felt comfortable enough to bring my two older children to her for care. However after the birth of my youngest, I opted to no longer do business with the practice because of the extremely unprofessional office staff. I drove 45 minutes one way to be seen by these doctors, having to deal with their office staff was simply no longer worth the drive.

I have been taking my children to this office for the past 23 year. My grandchildren are going to this office as well. I have a probelm with the office staff. They are very very unprofessional. The doctor are good doctor because they back there office staff in there wrong doing. My point ,if you have a patient that has been coming to your office for 23 years and have referred many people to your practice, it seem like you would appreciate that patient and treat them with respect. Would you turn someone away that have been coming to you for the past 20 years and has started to bring their children to you, especially if the person has traveled 45 minutes to come to your practice, and is ten minutes last? I could see if the doctorssaw the patients right at there appointment time, but sometimes you have to wait between 30 to 40 minutes before you are seen.
I have a probelm with that. I remember when the doctor was just getting started. She was more involved with her patients, now there is very little human feeling being exhibited.
It is topical when somebody starts making money. they change. I will prayer for this office and it's staff because they do need prayer.

Best Pedia-Docs in the ATL: If you want to have the best care for your children, Pedia-Doc is the way. I have 3 children, ages 11, 14, and 16. All have been seeing Dr. Rachelle Dennis-Smith and Dr. Wendy Morrow since birth. They have had excellent care their whole lives. I trust them. They really care about children and become like family. They know us when we call, when we come in. My 11 yr old son has a rare syndrome and they have not missed a beat in his care. Both doctors should receive many accolades for their professional and dedicated care to children and for providing service in an area of Atlanta that most doctors of their caliber would have abandoned long ago. God Bless them!

I have been taking my 21 month old here ever since he was 2 months old. I was not satisfied with the other pediatrician I was taking him to previously. They have great pediatricians at Pedia Doc, the only set back would be you may have to wait a while to see them, they are always packed with kids.
