The doctors at Chelsea Eye (Dr. Eviatar & Dr. Coad) are both incredibly seasoned professionals with an unbelievably great bedside manner. They came highly recommended by friends and doctors alike in New York City. I have known both of them for several years now and I had gone back 3 times before I made up my mind to go forward with Lasik. They respected my timetable and my opinions, they explained everything I wanted to know, and they walked me through the surgical experience like true friends. I cannot compliment them, or their staff, enough.

I had Lasik performed last week and I've had better-than-perfect 20-15 vision since the morning after! It was painless, problem free, and overall a 5 star decision. My previous stats were: -1.75 vision, a slight astigmatism, and 4 years of stable prescription. If you want a comfortable, respectable, and free consultation - go for it!

I have had fillers (juvederm, radiesse, restylane) over the past 7 years from a few different doctors, but three months ago I went to Dr. Eviatar, and he was exceptional. He lifted and smoothed my chin with radiesse--something no other doctor could do--and the results are amazing! I am 60, but my face now has the smoothness of a 40 year old. It looks so natural--not like I had "work" done. Friends always ask me now what facial products I use because my skin looks so good. I will only go to Dr. Eviatar in the future. I'm just thrilled!

I finally had my upper eye lid (bleph) surgery 5 weeks ago. I was terrified. I had scheduled the surgery back in the summer and cancelled. Over the years my upper lids began to droop and I now noticed that wearing eyeliner made no difference because you couldn't even see it anymore. I was feeling old. I always ?looked? tired. I am in my mid 40's, a relatively new mom and finally decided I didn't have to accept "looking my age". I was really scared that I would look like I had surgery, or I would look like the many artificial faces you see walking around in Hollywood. I so didn't want that. I have heard about Dr. Eviatar for years. I personally know people in the medical industry who say he is truly an artist and has a reputation of being one of the best cosmetic surgeons in town. I also heard that his technique and skills were admired even by other cosmetic doctors in NYC. I really wanted to find someone with many years of experience but who also use the lastest technology. With other consultations I had, doctors who had the many years of experience I wanted didn't even use a laser and still used a blade! The office at Chelsea Eye is beautiful and busy. The staff is knowlegeable, experienced and gave me first class service. I never felt rushed, pushed or pressured. And my due diligence really payed off. I can now tell you that I am so absolutely thrilled and tickled pink that I did this!! So many people have commented on how I look; rested, refreshed, younger and have asked me what new skin product I am using! AND YOU KNOW WHAT? I LOOK GREAT!! ..... actually - I LOOK FABULOUS! What a great thing I did for myself. I love Chelsea Eye and I love Dr. Eviatar - do yourself a favor and go see him. You will be so happy you did.

I had my Lasik done by Dr. Eviatar 9 years ago and I still have great vision (I had an exam today). My experience throughout the years from the Lasik itself to all of the other visits has been great. The staff are always professional and take excellent care of me. I have now started getting skin care consultation from the office and I am also impressed with the skin care staff. I highly recommend Chelsea Eye to anyone considering Lasik or skin care treatment.

I have had 2 procedures with Dr. Eviatar Botox and a filler and I could not be hapier with the results. I look fairly young for my age and the treatments just enhance my appearance NOT change it. Dr. Eviatar took time to listen to me and what my concerns were and then explaining the procedures that he recommends and why. I will definately be back for more......................

I don?t know about all this crazy review stuff, but Dr. Eviatar did my LASIK eye surgery last year and now I see better than 20/20. My experience with the place was great. Not only was their staff super nice, but they?re so knowledgeable about the technology and did a million tests to make sure I was a perfect candidate. They explained everything to me every step of the way. Dr. Eviatar made me feel so comfortable during the procedure and I learned more about my eyes than I ever even knew.

I have known Dr. Eviatar and Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery for over five years and they are terrific. Dr. Eviatar performed my Lasik surgery and it's amazing to be able to see without glasses for the first time in 20+ years, especially at the beach. I have also had Botox and various fillers performed by Dr. Eviatar and I look better than ever. Alicia Hilferty is a wonderful esthetician and her treatments and not only soothing, they work. The entire staff is extremely professional and this is one of the most pleasant physician offices in NYC. Getting an appointment is extremely easy and I would highly recommend their services to anyone I know, and I have!!!

I have been a patient for about 3 years and the entire practice is amazing. I have had Botox, Sculptra and Radiessse as well as LASIK and can HIGHLY recommed this practice as caring, competent and concerned. Being in the healthcare field, I am EXTREMELY knowledgeable about good and "bad" doctors and can tell you that Drs. Eviatar and Coad stand out as among the finest. Some cosmetic docs are motivated by the ole mightly dollar, but my experience with Dr. E is that his utmost concern is good patient care. He has a terrific eye and will never push the envelope on procedures unless he feels it benefits and enhances his patients.....Did I mention that I look 10 years younger....LOVE HIM and the Practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery Center is perhaps the finest of its kind. Not ony are the entire staff members respectful and compassionate but they are highly intelligent as well. As for Dr. Eviatar and Dr Coad, well let's just put it this way: I myself am an ophthalmologist, and have entrusted my own family to their expert care. Both are renowned surgeons with a gentle and thoughtful manner. They are truly gifted physicians who still remember that the patient's benefit is the most important factor in their decision making process.

I have been using the services of Chelsea Eye for several years, now. As a patient/customer who has used many of the varied, available services, I would highly recommend any and all of their services. I originally visited for my eyes. Dr. Eviatar and his staff were extremely patient and took the time to explain the various options available to me. Everything from the exam, to explaining to even ordering contacts, I was handled in a professional, but personal manner.

Through the last several years, i have had skin peels, laser hair removal, botox and other cosmetic procedures. i was, obviously, very pleased and continue to go back, on a regular basis. (Alicia, who does the skin care & laser hair removal, is a true asset to Chelsea Eye)

Last week, Dr. Coad performed a cataract surgery on my right eye, and, again, everything was handled with patience and care. I was very nervous about this procedure, but Dr. Coad really took the time to thoroughly explain how the surgery would be done and how it all worked. it was totally painless and i am now seeing perfect, in that eye, with 20-15 vision. I will return, in 2 weeks, for the other eye.

Chelsea Eye is a big place with a large waiting area and large staff. One might get the impression that, due to its size, it may be more of a "factory" from your first encounter with the staff & doctors, one can see that there is nothing "factory" about this place and personal attention seems to, always, be the mantra here. I feel very lucky to have Chelsea Eye as a resource.

I had been thinking about having lasik surgery for a couple of years but was too scared to actually go through with it. Then I happened to attend an open house at Chelsea Eye and was immediately impressed with the quality of the staff and the presentations by the surgeons. They gladly answered all of my questions and "held my hand" as I expressed my anxiety about the procedure. The procedure was completely painless and extremely quick. I went home, slept for a few hours and was able to watch TV by that evening. At my follow up appointment the next day, I learned that my vision was already better than 20/20. I experienced some of the expected soreness and dryness but now I can see better than ever without any problems. As a student, I didn't have to worry about missing class or have any problems getting right back to my reading/studying the day after the procedure. I just got back from a few days at the beach and I can't begin to describe how nice it is not to have to fuss with glasses or contacts on the beach. I have already told a number of friend to go see Dr. Eviatar at Chelsea Eye. If you are thinking about having lasik surgery, this is the best place to go!

I have been going to Doctor Eviatar for years and have had only the best of care. Doctor Eviatar and the staff are caring and provide extremely professional care. The exam room is spotless and the equipment used is state of the art. I always feel that I am getting the most professional care available. They answer all questions and are most attentive to concerns and issues raised. I have referred all my friends and I could not be more pleased with the care provided by Doctor Eviatar. I always feel great while being cared for. I feel confident that I am receiving the best care available.

I must confess, I've know Dr. Eviatar for 20 yrs, we started out professional career's in NY together.
That said., Dr. E. have done my lasix surgery (nearly 10 yrs!!!), and my eyes are still perfect.
It was the best thing I ever did for myself, the second being having Dr. Eviatar do the proceedure.

I've had many other proceedures done at his offices, from routine eye examines, to proceedures related to my 20+ yrs of HIV infection.

The staff, beginning with Susan Thompkin (incredible, uplifting, and a gift Dr. Eviatar was lucky to find) as office manager, to Trina, my favorite receptionist.., Caroylyn, Natasha, Anna, they are all consumate professionals, while personable and charming.

If you're expecting a sterile clinic atmosphere., you're in for a surprise. This is the doctor's office that sets the standard for all medical practices.

I get (and give!) a weeks worth of "hugs" when I have an appointment there. That alone is worth the trip.
I hope that Chelsea Eye stays right where it is, for a long time

I had Lasik surgery at Chelsea Eye Associates and to this day I still recommend Dr Eviatar to all of my friends. Chelsea Eye Associates made the decision much easier and Dr Eviatar could not have been more professional and sensitive to my anxiety about the decision. I could literally not see the E on the eye chart and a day after the surgery my eyes checked out at 15/20. They were so sensitive to me in preparation for and during the surgery that a difficult process was really effortless. I gave a customer presentation the day following the surgery and have had no problems with my eyes since. About a month after the surgery I remember finally cleaning out my medicine cabinet of all my contact lenses, solutions and cleaners. The surgery changed my life!

If you are considering Lasik...run don't walk. Everyone I have sent there has had the same experience.

Dr Eviatar has been my eye doctor for many years.
Over the last two years I've been seeing Dr. Eviatar for minor cosmetic procedures including IPL, lasar hair removal and Botox.
The procedures were fast and professional.
My results were terrific and natural looking.
He and his staff always make be feel relaxed and comfortable with the procedures.
They treat me like a VIP and make me look like a millions bucks!
And their prices are great!
I most highly recommend he and his staff for your ophthalmology and cosmetic needs.
In my opinion there is no one better.

What I didn't know about Lasik surgery going into it was the emotionally healing experience I would have afterwards-- being able to see after after 30 years (without glasses or contacts.) It was actually life changing and I fondly associate this healing with Chelsea Eye and Dr. Eviatar and his staff. Aside from the friendly, professional and expert exams and preparation, was the actual care I received during and after the surgery. The procedure was done with such care--I felt like the Dr. and his assistants were flying a plane with precision and accuracy and I was secure in the cockpit. The follow up was thoughtful and sensitive-- I received a follow up call from Dr. Eviatar to check on me, my pain and healing was managed sensitively by him and the staff, and I experienced support in every interaction Chelsea Eye around the emotional healing of improved sight and my new identity that followed.

I went back for Sculptra and had a similar experience-- top-notch care.

I have recommended Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery to many people-- and will continue to do so.

I had a wondeful experience using Dr. Eviatar for lasik surgery. It changed my life and I no longer need glasses for reading or driving. He has excellent bed side manners and the staff is professional, courteous and solicitous.Appointments are made taking in account the busy schedule of a professional and the waiting time is minimal. I recommend him without reservations.His partner Dr. Coats did cataract surgery on my husband and he was very satisfied and will use him again for the other eye. Great doctors and great staff.

All in all the experience has been excellent, from the quality of care, to the customer service orientation of the entire staff, to the environment of the office. I have a friend that highly recommended Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery for lasik and buttox. Not only for the great customer service but for the results of the treatments. Seeing how good and young my friend looked I decided to go for it. I tried it and was so impressed by the results that I have become a loyal patient. I suffered from having a droopy eyelid my whole life. It bothered me so much. Ever since I was a teenager I wanted to do something about it. I went to plenty of places to consult over this matter in the past 5 yrs and no one made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Eviatar. I knew from the minute I spoke with him that he knew how I felt and that he knew exactly what to do! He told me that it was a very common problem and that it was easy to fix. He told me I should do a browlift with an eyelid surgery.
Today I can look into the mirror and not feel I want to hide my eye with my hair anymore. The procedure was a miracle come true. Not only do I feel good about myself I feel much more confident about about my appearance. I hope that anyone that feels the way I did at one point is able to make it to see Dr. Eviatar. Thank you so much Chelsea Eye and Dr. Eviatar for changing my life!!!!

That's how I felt about the whole cosmetic experience I underwent at Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery. I made an appointment to meet with Dr. Eviatar and the cosmetic consultants and I found that their knowledge and professionalism was so reassuring that I proceeded with their recommended treatment
of Botox, for my "crow's feet" (lines around the eyes) and Sculptra injectable to lift my cheek s and soften those ugly aging lines in my chin (they called them "marionette lines"). People tell me I look so wonderful
and refreshed, I must be in love!! Thank you Dr. Eviatar for your expertise.

I'm 24 years old and I have been wearing glasses since I was four, contact lenses since I was 14. I have suffered from High Myopia (-8.00 = coke bottle glasses ) and High Astigmatism ( blurry and uncomfortable contact lenses). Interested in LASIK and having done a lot of research about the procedure, I sought out Chelsea Eye as I have many other Ophthalmic practices in my search to find the right place and the right doctor to trust my eyes to. When I first walked through the door, I was very surprised at the young and "attractive" hip feel of the practice, I being only 24 years old, my appeal came quickly. The staff was super sweet to me and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed, which is something that often occurs at other practices. The clinical people who did all my measurements and talked to me about LASIK were very professional and answered all of my questions or found the answers out for me. Before even meeting the surgeon something I realized already was that the staff actually cared about me. I wasnt just another patient, but a real person with concerns and issues that the staff listened to and didnt just brush to the side and follow my appointment by some "medical book".
Though it may seem like the smallest and most insignificant thing, but what I first noticed about the surgeon was that he talked to me, not at me. Again, the doctor alone made me feel as if I was a person and not a dollar sign. He was more than efficient in explaining the procedure, calming my fears, and most imporantly, being realistic about the future of LASIK and its limitations. Even though I am only 24, he explained my future need for reading glasses in my 40's - 50's. I explained to him that I couldn't even imagine myself being that old!
My procedure went amazingly, it was soo fast and easy! I saw great the next day, 20/20! These guys at Chelsea Eye are awesome! I wish I hadn't waited so long! But really..don't wait, go, GO!!!!!!!

Wonderful doctor, friendly staff, excellent cosmetic result! I would not trust any other doctor to inject my face. I had Botox and some other cosmetic procedures done by other doctors but wasn't completely happy with the outcome until I found this practice. If you are not sure what you want - they will give you a very professional advise. The doctor is a true artist!

I have been going to Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Clinic for 3 months now getting laser hair removal treatments on my neck to prevent in grown hairs that have been a problem to me for years. After only a few sessions I already notice fantastic results and I haven't had any problems on my neck since. Alicia Hilferty is the specialist in this field at the clinic and I couldn't have asked for someone better to work on me. She's very professional and has given me great advice on what I should I do. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful and has made this experience go very smoothly for me. I will continue to use Alica for any future cosmetic work I may need and I will highly recommend Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic. The prices are very reasonable and the results are amazing.

I just had my lasik eye surgery and so happy with the entire experience from the moment I walked into this practice to my new 20/20 vision!! Dr. Eviatar is a truely gifted lasik surgeon and came highly recommended. Although I did a ton of research and even visited other lasik practices - I knew I was in the right hands at Chelsea Eye. The entire staff is so caring, warm and genuine! .... and I never once felt like they were trying to sell me on anything. They use the best technology called iLasik - apparently the same is what fighter pilots and the Naval Seal now use. If it's good enough for them, then I know it's perfect for me. I love this practice and the doctors - I'm referring all my friends to them. I now see better than I did in my glasses or contact lenses!! It truely is miraculous!! I just wish I had done this sooner!!

I had a facial here, which was good, but severely overpriced. Carol was very nice, but I don't get the whole "specializes in ethnic skin" thing. Basically, she recommends some creams that lighten your skin, which is hardly extraordinary for ethnic skin. I'm happy with my skin color. Also, atmosphere is a little lacking considering the high prices charged.
