This is a cheap introduction to flight (the first lesson is just $35), and a great way to go if you're planning to fly more - as an instructor, there's a great way to get lots of hours in, and they provide advanced training as well.
For the first flight, pick a sunny day, since you wont' be allowed to fly through the clouds. You can do everything else - take off, use the radio, decide where to go, fly there, make turns and maneuvers... And you'll get all the help you need to land.

For those who are considering getting a pilot's license, but aren't sure if what you are planning to spend 4-5 thousand dollars on is your cup of tea, this is the place to go. Here, you get a real flying experience (the instructor will land the plane for you, but you can takeoff and fly according to instructions all on your own) for $50. Hint: there's a $10 off coupon on their website!

PROS: cost-effective
CONS: need excellent weather!
